New pt. consult with Dr. Sinkowitz: he came into the exam room very well informed about my medical history, he had already reviewed the chest xray and CT CHEST exams I recently had done, which by doing this saved me time and a whole lotta breathe which has been difficult lately. We were able to jump right into the plan going forward. He answered all of mine and my daughter's questions, we had plenty and he did not make us feel rushed, nor did he talk over us. He informed me that he would be out of the office so he had already spoken with his associate, and reviewed my case with him since he would be available to do my procedure. We left the office with a clear understanding of what will take place over the next couple of weeks. So very pleased I was referred to Dr. Sinkowitz, after just one visit I feel confident that he has my best interest at heart. Plus his office staff is very welcoming, from check-in to check-out I was impressed at the smooth process. Wendy, Dr.Sinkowitz's assistant was friendly, and she was really rooting me on through the Spirometry, Rebecca at check-out was very nice, explained to me about obtaining insurance authorization, then schedule procedures the doctor has ordered, and to be expecting a call from her when all was in place. I really appreciate a strong support staff, whom I could tell work together well, which in turn speaks highly of the physician since they are your first contact and set the tone of the appointment before you even set foot into the office. FAIR WARNING THE LADY WITH SHORT CURLY HAIR AND GLASSES MAY YELL! I didn’t go immediately to her as she said she can help me because I was going to sign in on clipboard first then go to her, she loudly kept repeating she will help me, to a point her peers were looking, and then she was waving arm sarcastically and asking if I can see ok. Real shrill, ear piercing voice. We aren’t at an optometrist and we were going in to see if my moms cancer came back, so she really shouldn’t come at people like that. Said clipboard doesn’t need to be signed, is it there for a prop then?? Was so overwhelmed clearly about to findout if the big C is back that I didn’t have energy to get louder than her, plus I’m not rude like that and didn’t want to disrespect his office space. He gets right to point and does not sugarcoat or try and dance around things, very straight forward in the best way possible! Very thorough in testing and anything else! You know how they say Doctors are not like they use to be. When I met Dr Sinkowitz; he reminded me of how doctors use to be. He listens. He treats you a a partner for your own care, no scolding, just straight talk you can respect. His Staff is so welcoming and friendly . When you meet Dr Sinkowitz you will see he is the same .
