The Source AV Design Group — Local services in Torrance

Someone just wrote "very unprofessional" above me on the review board. Um... excuse me? I guarantee this is:

A. A robot B. A competitor C. An idiot

The source is literally the best place in the country to buy high end gear, and not get ripped off. (I'm a Mcintosh nut.. FYI) When I moved to LA in September, got into the LA "audio forums" and Facebook groups... and I tried to find the best dealer. EVERYONE said "just go to the source and ask for Jason." Soooo, I did.

Whatever your expectation is.. triple it- and that's The Source. Room after room after room after room of hifi that you can demo.

He took the time of day to sit down wiith me and be a human being. Answered all of my question, and never pushed anything on me. (much unlike many of the used car salesmen you get in high end audio)

Because of his honesty, and openness, I have referred many people to him who have become customers, and I completely redid my sound system purchasing from him .

Why am I telling you all this? Because for someone to say they were "unprofessional" really grinded my gears.

I first contacted The Source AV Design Group looking for DJ headphones a few days ago. Jason, the owner was very quick to respond and went above and beyond my expectations. Rather than trying to sell the products, he truly cared about my needs, solving my problem and more. He's very friendly and really passionate about music, the audio equipment and, his customers. I was inspired by his sincerity - he cares more about building the community of audio enthusiasts than money. Jason Lord is not only a successful business owner, top notch engineer but also a world class bass player. whoa! Also I was blown away by the high-end two channel speakers and top of the line headphones that I couldn't see at any other music or pro audio stores. If you're in the area, make sure to visit and check out their amazing home theater systems and attend their events! They do giveaways, you could win some serious gear. So excited that I won a raffle - incredible headphones by Focal, worth $1000! woo hoo!:-)

I have been building instruments for close to 40 years and selling instrument wood for over 50 years, to say that music is a passion would be an understatement. I had the good fortune to come to The Source to look/listen to some audiophile gear. The staff, Jason, Peter, Wayne and Allen all shared the same passion I had for music. Jason and Wayne spent a great amount of time with me helping/guiding me to what best suited my musical taste and budget. They hooked me up to some incredible gear some of which I may not have considered but with their patience and guidance they helped me make the best choice for my musical needs. My sincere thanks to everyone at The Source A/V for a very pleasurable/enjoyable experience.
