If you want to see theatre of the highest caliber, go to Torrance Theatre Co. I have never been disappointed, and always impressed by them. The people who are running the theatre are really nice and efficient. The theatre is always clean. The level of professionalism in the direction, acting and sets are as good as, if not better than, some Union Waiver houses that I have been to, and even worked at through the years. Free local street parking surrounding the theatre is a plus. . Prior to going, or after seeing a show there, go across the street to Old Town Torrance, where there are a number of good restaurants to eat at.
