This place is the best Jewelry Store around! I’ve been bringing my jewelry to them to be repaired for a very long time. The people are very friendly, I feel like they care about me as their customer. My mom passed away last month and I found some rings that she had lost in the house many years ago. One particular was aged, missing a stone and the prongs were bent. It looked like a cheap ring from a local store. I took it to Romar and in a few days they called me to pick it up. I was absolutely stunned how gorgeous they got this ring to look! They replaced the stone, fixed the prongs and cleaned it so shiny it looked like it belonged in their showcase for sale! I was so overwhelmed by its beauty I started to cry! I can now wear my mom’s ring & feel like she’s with me always. I cannot be happier with their service. Always a pleasure doing business...

Fast service. We've used them for watch battery replacement several times and the watch comes back in a day or two.

I saw a sign in the store. It looks like they have a new program - Lifetime watch battery replacement for $22. If you wear a watch every day and you find yourself replacing the battery every year or so AND you plan on keeping the watch for awhile, it may be worth checking this out. Could save you some cash over time.

Sign in the window says "We Buy Gold". Haven't done it myself so can't say if they pay top dollar or not.

I took my 3 pendants to the store at 3:30 pm to have a sturdy loop put on to each one. They were ready by 4:30. The price was very reasonable and the service was top Notch. I met Barry the owner and Tony his sales rep. Both were a pleasure to work with. I’m glad I ignored the few bad reviews they have. Any reasonable minded person will know; you just can’t please everyone. I fact checked some of those reviews and literally customers had lied about Facts. i.e. A genuine Movada watch battery is $50 not $15. And the “Store Size” is what is to be expected from a small business owner on Long Island, Not too small at all! Go to Romars on Deer Park Ave. You Will Not be...
