OFC Creations Theatre Center — Attraction in Town of Brighton

There is much one could say about OFC Creations. Their outreach to children is especially outstanding. As a teacher I am always impressed that they provide a safe environment where there is no bullying or embarrassment -- only growth. Lest one believe they only provide services for children, one only has to attend some of their outstanding shows for adults. There is also an outreach to the LGQBT+ Community and several nationally prominent performers have performed there. The air-conditioned comfortable facility is complete accessible to all. I have been impressed with the extremely comfortable seats and the acoustics - a vital issue for any theatre.One feels the welcome the minute one enters the huge lobby, with bar and several restrooms. The entire facility is beautifully designed and colorful making the audience member feel at home. What a joy it is to have this outstanding organization with its innovative and creative staff...

Our daughter was in 2 productions over this past pandemic year at OFC. They did a fantastic job of following the guidelines, but also allowing the children to have fun and not feel like they were in a pandemic. Her first performance was recorded and we streamed at home as a big family celebration of her very 1st performance. Although we wished we could have watched in person, it was equally awesome to watch from home! Our daughter looked forward to each rehearsal and would be a non-stop chatter box about her castmates and the new things she was learning. OFC brought a spark out in our child that seemed muted this past year. I would highly recommend enrolling your child, even if they have never been on stage, like our daughter. It's been such a wonderful, educational, and confidence building experience and she has gained so much confidence and so many cherished friendships through this...

Last weekend OFC presentated SpongeBob the Musical. This show was absolutely phenomenal. My husband and I aren't SpongeBob fans, but this show left me wanting more. It was hysterical, lively, engaging and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Many times I'm eager for intermission cause I need a break from sitting, this time I was sad it had one. Definitely one of the best shows of my daughter's "career" and that's saying a lot. OFC has always done a great job, but this was nothing less than spectacular.
