Went here for dinner with the family and our experience was very underwhelming. Ordered the shrimp shumai and it came out raw. They also do not disclose on the menu that it contains pork. The staff was very apologetic and made a replacement. We also ordered the steamed pork soup dumplings and that came out raw as well…This time we asked if they could void the item and not have a replacement. Despite the beautiful seating arrangements and decorations—the screaming and yelling from the kitchen could be heard after our complaints were made, which made for an unpleasant experience. By the end of our meal, they had forgotten one of our items and we had already been seated for over an hr. Again, item was not comped after bringing it up to staff. Our grand total was just over $150–They offered us 10% off on our bill and comped us ONLY for the steamed soup dumplings. Unfortunately, would not return or recommend Manting House for anyone looking for dimsum or...

Misleading Menu Presentation: The actual dishes served no resemblance to the professional photographs displayed on the menu. When we brought this to the restaurant's attention, the staff dismissed the complaint, asserting that the served plates accurately reflected their style.
Unsatisfactory Response to a Quality Issue: Upon discovering an insect in one of the dishes, the server failed to offer an immediate apology. Instead, they first requested we lower our voices and remain calm, expressing concern that we might disturb or "scare" the table next to us. As compensation for the entire ordeal, the restaurant offered a 10% discount on...

The seasoning on the mapo tofu and the cabbage was a little too heavy. The flavor of the pork belly was good but the meat was chewy and might have been overcooked. We did like the shrimp and vermicelli dish. It was balanced and the shrimp had a nice texture.
Overall we spent about 30 dollars per person at this restaurant. I think given the quality of the dishes and the quantity, other Chinese restaurants in the area might be of...
