Learn moreThe food itself was actually good—I ordered the French onion soup and loaded fries, nothing too fancy but definitely enjoyable. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired by the end of the visit.
Our server seemed friendly at first, but it quickly became clear that he either wasn't trained properly or was just overwhelmed. After we received our food, he completely disappeared. We sat there for quite a while trying to get the check, but he never came back.
Meanwhile, another table was seated next to us. No one came to take their drink orders for a long time, so the woman eventually had to walk up to the bar just to get some water. The server finally showed up and took their order, but then disappeared on them too. They were clearly frustrated and ended up leaving before getting their drinks.
I waited, thinking maybe the server would return to them and I could catch him to pay, but that never happened. So I also ended up walking to the bar to pay, and thankfully someone there was able to ring me out.
On my way out, I let who I believe was a manager (no name tag) know that it was my first visit, and I explained what had happened with both our table and the one next to us. Disappointingly, he didn’t seem to care. No apology, no attempt to make things right—just a bland “I understand.” Another staff member just stood there listening, not even making a move to help other guests. And to be honest, the restaurant wasn’t even that busy at the time.
It’s unfortunate because the place has potential, and the food was solid. But based on this experience—and noticing similar complaints in recent reviews—it seems like poor service might be an ongoing issue. It’s one thing to make a mistake, but when it’s brought to your attention and there’s zero concern or accountability, that’s what really turns people away. Sadly, I won’t...
Read moreJust a sad meal. Maybe I've been spoiled by cooking my own fresh food. Has restaurant food really gotten this processed and depressing? I ordered the grilled chicken fajitas. The amount of meat was about a third of normal fresh chicken breast. The meat was spongy and strange in consistency, not like normal meat. It's like the consistency of a wadded up piece of bread into a tight dough ball, warmed up, and dipped in chicken broth yet somehow spongy like a yoga mat. All the ingredients clearly were, at best frozen, processed heavily and probably squeezed out of bulk bagging. I wouldn't be surprised if the kitchen primarily consisted of a row of microwaves and fryers. My "chicken", peppers, and onions were served in an iron skillet that was clearly never used to actually cook. I couldn't tell if the brown patch on the side was rust or food that wasn't scrubbed off, I guessed rust. The wraps were about the diameter of an orange. My fajitas were comically small. Just depressing. Had I not been with friends, family, and deprived of food since the day before, I would have just left my food on the table. In retrospect that's what I should have done. I was starving so I ate it. Now, less than an hour later, I feel bloated and have heart burn with a headache, like a hangover, except all I drank was a water. I would put this grade of food somewhere in between prison and high school lunch. In summation, if you like super processed tv dinners arranged on plates in fun, homemade-like ways without the hassle of microwaving it yourself, this may seem almost that good after a few beers. I can't help but imagine how bad this food must be for you. I would have taken pictures but I feel like I described it adequately.
Service was friendly and atmosphere was nice.
Update: about 8 hours later my wife started throwing...
Read moreJust recently came here 2 times within the last month so I will review both times here First visit - came in for about 2 weeks ago. Ordered the garlic parmesan bone in wings. Took awhile to get them but when they did arrive they were great ! Fresh cooked and very tasty ! Only problem was our server was non existent. Nice guy but never checked up on us after the food arrived. But the wings were awesome !
Second visit - because my wings were so good despite the meh service decided to give it another try.... Came in this past Wednesday (6/28) around 9:30pm. Earlier in the day I checked out their website which clearly states that they offer select appetizers for $7 on Wednesdays so me and my group decided to give them a chance. Got seated and our waitress finally showed up around 10 mins of just sitting there. I asked her. " What appetizers are $7 like the website shows " her reply .... " Oh we haven't updated the website , it's been like that for 2 years , we don't offer that anymore" kind of in a tone like " where have you been ?? We don't do that !" Like I am suppose to know considering I JUST moved here from out of state. So I had to scramble and just order something else because I was afraid she would never return. Order a buffalo chicken wrap and it was decent. Pretty tasty. Not a lot of fries at all though. We were never checked up on or got refills . Kind of crazy to pay $3 for a soda and not even get a refill. The place wasn't even busy but they must be doing good I guess to make enough money to ignore people.
Overall I would say the food is pretty good. Wings were awesome. Wrap was decent. Service was abysmal. As much as I loved those wings I have decided I won't be going back because the service is atrocious. Or maybe just get...
