My boyfriend and I were regulars at their sister restaurant, Sodam, so we were excited to try Seoul Sisters Pocha. It did not disappoint—if anything, it might be even better!
We started with their appetizers, and everything was delicious, especially the vegetable-filled egg roll. I had been craving it since the last time I had something similar in NYC. We also tried their mandu, which was incredibly crispy and flavorful.
Their portions are generous. I ordered the Budae Jjigae, and it was amazing—super spicy, exactly how I like it. My boyfriend got the Tonkatsu curry, which was rich and comforting, and it even came with beef cubes. We were so hungry that we didn’t stop to take pictures, but trust me, the food was worth it.
To finish, we got the fried ice cream, and the presentation was surprisingly elegant, almost like something you’d see in fine dining. It was the perfect ending to a great meal.
If you’re craving authentic Korean food, this is definitely the place to go. Just come hungry—because once the food arrives, you won’t want to stop eating!
Also, shout-out to Hanna! Thank you for being the amazing server that you are at both Sodam and Seoul...
