I came to All Island Jewelry and Loan after visiting their neighbor across the street Diamond Jewelers very unhappy. I wasnt sure if they would be able to repair my grandmother's diamond ring which I am planning on giving to my girlfriend as an engagement ring. Sure enough they were able to help me. The ring was missing a beget... needed to be resized and cleaned up. The staff there was very helpful and informative. They told me it could take a couple weeks to fix it up as it had to be sent out for repair. Well 5 days later they had it back and I went to pick it up. All i can say is WOW! The ring was in rough shape as it must be over 30 years old. I gave it to them looking its age. What i got back looked BRAN NEW! Like it was just made. The sparkle and shine it has now is breathtaking. Diamond Jewelry wanted over $450 dollars telling me it was in rough shape and needed alot of work. All Island Jewelry and Loan took care of it for me for $150 and gave me a nice box to put it in AND they gave me an appraisal on its value. I cant say enough how happy I am for what they have done for me. Its Christmas time and I am light on money "obviously" and they helped make my girlfriends and my dream come true. Have been an All Island customer for many years now. Many times over the years I found myself in an emergency situation and in need of quick cash. If you're looking to sell gold/silver/etc they beat out virtually EVERY pawn shop on middle country rd, and if you're looking for a loan (pawn*) on your new electronics, gold or instruments they HANDS DOWN give the highest amounts. Good selection of TVs, gadgets, computers/latops, gaming consoles and jewelry for sale - basically one of those hidden gems that are hard to find unless you know they're there. :) And they ARE open on Sundays, albeit somewhat selective in their hours. :p
