I hate to write negative reviews for restaurants but I believe honesty is the best policy and it helps bring improvements. I ordered Butter chicken, Goat Biryani, Palak paneer, the Special Kabab Roll and Mint Lemonade. The first thing was that we waited a long time after ordering before we got our food. It was around 30-35 Mins. In between that time we would’ve expected to at least get the drinks brought to the table, but no, drinks came when the food came. The special kabab roll was not bad, I felt the masala on top of it was a little too much, but that’s just my personal opinion, there was no raita or white sauce given with it, even some green chutney would’ve complimented well with the kabab roll. The butter chicken was too sweet, it was not an authentic tasting butter chicken. I really didn’t enjoy it at all. The Palak Paneer was not made too well either, I can definitely say I’ve had better palak paneer at other restaurants. Which brings me to the Goat Biryani, it wasn’t fresh, the rice seemed old and wasn’t soft like fresh rice. There was more bone than meat in the biryani as well. I can say that the naan was good, they were soft and tasted very nice. The mint lemonade wasn’t too bad, I enjoyed it but my wife said she didn’t so I’m going to say that’s just a personal taste preference. The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming and cozy, a strong smell of a desi restaurant when you walk in but that’s to be expected and nothing wrong with that. Overall I feel there can be improvements made in service, and taste of food. I am also willing to come back and try other items on the menu just to show support for the business and even update my review. I think people should give this restaurant...
Read moreIf i could give more than 5 stars i would. We had the family platter. The lahori channa was perfection, honestly the same if not as good as when I'm in Lahore. The chicken Tikka boti is moist and scrumptious, bursting with flavor. The chicken kadai was sizzling and so fresh. The chicken biryani was authentic and felt homemade. The naan..... It was soft, warm, buttery, thick (the good kind of thick)! Chef's kiss. Also im a huge fan of garlic naan. This had real hand cut garlic pieces on every buttery bite just how i love it. The seekh kabab was spicy and flavorful. We also tried the chicken shawarma. It was one of the best I've ever had. It was a south asian style, not middle eastern style. I had been searching for a desi style shawarma and this hit the spot. Very delicious. Ended it with kheer. It was just like moms, thick, rich and delicious. I will come back and come back often! It's so hard to find quality food, especially south asian and halal. This place is really fresh and delicious! Looking forward to trying more from the huge selection on the menu! Shout out to our server Sidhu, he had a smile on his face all night and answered all of...
Read more"I had the pleasure of dining at [aladdin restaurant ] last night, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The ambiance was warm and cozy, with vibrant decor that transported me to the streets of Lahore.
The service was top-notch - our server, mr sidhu was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations.
But the real star of the show was the food. Oh, the food! Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece. The flavors were bold, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was stunning.
Standouts included:
The creamy, rich Butter Chicken The tender, spicy Lamb Seekh Kebabs The fluffy, flavorful Basmati Rice The crispy, savory Naan Bread
And don't even get me started on the desserts - the Gulab Jamun was heavenly!
I've tried many Pakistani/Indian restaurants, but aladdin stands out for its authenticity, quality, and value. Whether you're a spice aficionado or just looking for a delicious meal, this place is a must-visit.
Highly Recommended!
