I will admit we did not know what to expect when we arrived here for the first time. Inside is very clean and nothing fancy. But the food is amazing. We started off with wings that were fresh and crucnchy, not too much batter and with the sauce on the side. These were some of the best wings we have had. Next came the beef nachos and we believed the nachos are homemade. This was excellent! Crunchy, crisp and light and with the right amount of jalapeños, beans, sour cream and cheese! For the main we ordered taco in soft tortillas and with chicken. Really great as was the burrito and the fajitas. The grilled steak with shrimp was very good. The steak was thin and a bit overcooked but was very flavorful. Shrimp was grilled perfectly. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back soon. So we all highly recommend this restaurant. And the prices are very reasonable and u can order beer or freshly...
Read moreOrdered pickup from La Fonda Latino today for me and my wife and honestly, we were both pretty let down. We're Spanish, so we know our Latino food, and this place just didn't cut it.
I got the Pernil with rice and beans, she got the grilled chicken with the same sides. Everything was just... bland. Like, who forgets to put salt in rice?? The beans tasted straight out of a can with zero effort to season them. The meat was just as disappointing.
Look, we're not asking for anything fancy here, just the basics of Latino cooking – some actual flavor! Being Spanish ourselves, we were especially bummed since we know how amazing this food should taste.
Can't recommend this spot. They need to find where they stored their spice rack before I'd even think about ordering from there again. Save your money and find somewhere that actually remembers how to season their...

My biggest complaint is with the fish soup. For a $6 small, I got broth with a small corn cob, a single large carrot slice, two chunks of potato and lots of fish bones/scales. What little meat was present tasted good, but we live on an island and filets shouldn't be hard to find.
The Bandeja con pernil was ok, even if the pork was extremely fatty.
Honestly, I'll probably try them once more in the future, and order something simpler and much safer. I'm disappointed as I was hoping it could be a staple in my...
