Garden Prairie Farm — Attraction in Town of Burke

My mom lives in IL and we go to Garden Prairie on Mother's day every year, both buying all flowers and veg plants they have. I've been gardening my whole life and these are the absolute best plants as far as production, ability to live in my yard, and able to reach full maturity. I've never had a plant die from here. I'd pay double for all what mentioned and I promise you, it's half the price as big box stores that ship plants all over the country at the wrong time of the year, sit outside in May when too cold, mostly dead by the time the reach us. In Rockford IL, Menards is where plants meet their demise bc lack of knowledge and care for the plants. I don't want to waste my space on a tomato plant that appears to be okay, when was left out in 45 degree weather and appears healthy for me to take home to watch die. It really tears at my heart to watch anything suffer and you will never have a plant in any bad situation come from this farm. Ps. Extremely cute goats live here you can feed!!! Always a baby too!!! Staff so so friendly.

I can’t say enough about Garden Prairie Farm! I come here every year to get my pumpkins, and the Owner is always so personable and helpful. I have been going here for years and will never go anywhere else. When I was driving home from work today, I noticed they had their pumpkins out and had to make a u-turn and visit!
