Burrachos Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Sun Prairie

Wow, talk about absolutely amazing!

From start to finish, Burrachos in Sun Prairie made our wedding dinner everything we could have ever asked for. It all started for us when we got the idea to check out different types of cuisine to have at our wedding and I happened to see on their website that they in fact catered for weddings. I reached out through email that I was interested and really quickly their coordinator Brittany got back to me and set up a time for tasting.

When we got to the restaurant, we were blown away with the presentation and their attention to detail of any questions that we probably would have had going into our wedding. We left the restaurant with a pretty good idea of what choices of tacos and sides we wanted for our wedding. We still weren’t fully sure on Burrachos at this point as we had some other tasting to do yet but I knew Burrachos was #1 so far. Fast forward to the next month a few other tastings and no one could beat the quality, uniqueness, and price of Burrachos.

After selecting Burrachos, I exchanged emails with Brittany for the better part of a couple months setting up details of our wedding venue, or guest count, and amounts of each food item to be at our wedding. Brittany was extremely courteous, timely, and respectable. When we got our RSVPs back from guests, I had to change my guest count that I had originally given and Brittany was able to change the food amounts with no questions asked.

The day of the wedding came and every bride and groom’s dreams as far as food came true, we didn’t hear a single thing from Burrachos. And I mean that literally as they came in silently after cocktail hour, set up silently, served everyone in a very graceful, efficient way, and cleaned up everything we had agreed on without any hiccups what-so-ever. We couldn’t have been happier!

My favorite cuisine is Mexican and my favorite food is tacos and so to have such a great experience with Burrachos for one of the most important days of my life was something I will remember forever. Burrachos checked all the boxes and far surpassed any of my expectations. We will certainly be recommending them to anyone and everyone that we can when it comes to catering and even for a nice sit down meal.

I was at the restaurant at the same time as the woman posting the review below me and I'm unable to comment on that review but felt it's worth noting some discrepancies with her account of what happened. The person not wearing a mask was washing dishes, not preparing food. He came up to grab more dirty dishes that were placed on the back counter for him. After she voiced her concern about his lack of a mask the manager immediately asked who she was talking about and said he would correct this. The manager did state the employee was not cooking and that was the only comment that was made by any of the employees other than "I will go talk to him" . The woman that wrote the review below then turned around and started complaining to anyone that would listen. All of it was completely unnecessary and the next time the employee came up front he was wearing a mask so the issue was corrected. The scene that was caused was so over the top and I'm not surprised at all to find this review today but I do want to make sure others can see the full story before they decide not to eat at this establishment. The food was good, staff was patient (even with an unruly customer), and we definitely will be eating...

Went here October 2016. To be honest I wasn't expecting much. Small burrito place. Arrived Saturday a little late for dinner. About 6:45pm. Place was dead. Didn't think too much of it. Ordered the nachos for a friend and I to start with. Was pretty good. Next she got a chicken quesadilla and I got a steak burrito. Both were very good. Staff was nice but nothing over the top. They seemed to stay busy cleaning while we ate which is nice to see. And the reason this review is 5 stars not 4. We got two chocolate chip frosted brownies for dessert. I have no idea how you cook your brownies. Or what you do for frosting. But I swear it's magic. I don't think you can make a bad brownie. You probably ruined brownies for the rest of my life.
