Been coming here since I was a kid and now live in the neighborhood. I take it for granted it being right around the corner, but no reason I wouldn't drive 15-20 minutes to go to it, there's trails a couple different Jungle Jim's and fenced in splash pad for children and easy to watch the kids while they're playing around in a large area with water shooting all over the place, but it's fenced in with the 4-ft fence. Very convenient for parents there's an outdoor gym with fitness equipment that's weather resistant around a fenced area so you can work out and watch your kids, you can walk your animals and has waste basket and baggies for their ways to be picked up so it's very clean. The Parks and Rec Department is connected to it so the bathrooms and everything there is new and very well maintained. To me it really stands out because of the modern and weather resistant equipment , convenience of not having to constantly watch your child because the modern coated chain link fence surrounding the water Park area. a lighting is very good at dusk at night time if happened to be in the park but not in the splash pad part afe clean and colorful. Camillus police patrol and. knitor well, but do not linger. So, it is safe but you can also enjoy yourself as well as they use discretion and generally...
Read moreNot what it used to be. Living here my whole life, I can say this park has changed a lot in just the past few years alone. We have had some trouble with unsupervised children, and even some of the parents, who simply do not care how their children act or where they urinate. Many disrespectful kids and adults recently have flocked to this park, simply for the free splash pad and new playground. It is sad that this park is no longer walkable and enjoyable like it once was. Now, you get yelled at by disrespectful kids, told you cannot do anything about it by the police, and dogs chase you because they are not leashed. Drug needles and bottles have been found in the park, as well as trash and dog waste everywhere. Where has the respect for nature and people gone? Sad to see this place change like this. I have lived here over 35 years, and it has never been bad like this before....

This is a great park to visit for adults and children. It was very quite and peaceful when I visited. *One section is an outdoor gymn for total body workout with machines built with the disabled in mind. In this time of distancing it works out well. All the machines are spaced a good distance apart. *The center is an in closed section for little ones to cool down from the heat. Around the center is a small track for running or walking. *The Second section is for the children;having two jungle gyms with activities and slides. There are also swings for babies/toddlers and older ones as well as plenty space for little ones to run around. I recommend it and would definitely return. *Plenty parking...
