My time spend at Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Camillus, NY was nothing short of a Cinderella Story. 2 boys, famished after their monthly Costco run. People say that "you should never go shopping when your hungry. You'll end up buying things you don't actually need." My companion Gweg and I made that mistake. After checking out of Costco and receiving our lengthy receipt, we were frantically searching for something to calm our stomachs. Would we go to the Costco Food Court? Maybe the Texas Roadhouse right up the road? P.S. The free samples at Costco only heightened our appetite. Searching restaurants on Google, we came across Tropical Smoothie Cafe on West Genesee St. Now Gweg and I were no stranger to this find establishment. With over 15,000 Tropical Smoothie Cafe points, we were veterans in a crowd of recruits. We made the leap of faith by driving the 6 minutes and were expecting our usual Tropical Smoothie location. However, we were pleasantly surprised driving up to a smoothly paved driveway, with a remodeled Tropical Smoothie Cafe looking right at us. This was something different and Gweg doesn't like change but after some convincing he was ready to walk in. We walked right up to the counter and ordered our usual order. We both got a three cheese chicken dilla. I got a Jetty Punch and Gweg got a Beach Bum with protein powder. We took a seat in the largest dining room we have every seen in any Tropical Smoothie establishment and in no time our food made our way to our table. The dillas were hot, the salsa was nothing short of perfection, and the smoothies were crisp. Everything was freshly made and the service was second to none. This location of Tropical Smoothie Cafe impressed me more than I could have ever thought. Thank you Tropical Smoothie for this experience and I...

But here's a response: If you're going to work in customer service, learn what “service” means. Acting annoyed, making side comments, and giving bare-minimum effort doesn’t make you edgy or superior—it makes you forgettable and replaceable.
There’s a common attitude here: young staff acting like showing up is a favor to the world. It’s not.
If the goal is to coast until something better comes along, fine. But while you're here, act like you're part of a team—not just another undertrained young adult with a...

The worst part is the person taking our orders and doing all they could was a person working his first day while the other staff sat around providing no assistance.
While the store continued to get busier 2 employees refused to move and offer any help. Customers walked out due to not even being acknowledged or being able to place an order.
I have been a long time tropical smoothie supporter in Michigan where the service is remarkable. How ever this store I don't see being open long with the non...
