New Fantastic Nail & Spa — Attraction in Town of Catskill

The WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER GONE TO! I asked that my nails be full set (regular). the manager did gel! Her reason, "you have kids it wont chip now" I asked for a natural color like my skin, my skin it light. The manager put on a dark tan! I asked that the nail shape be rounded, like a natural shape. I pointed to the nails they have to show color and said "like the rounded shap your example nails are". The manager square rounded them, meaning they are square but she took off the edges. They are square. I asked for veary thin acrylic because I like them that way. The manager said "I know natural, not thin cause they brake" If I ask for thin, I WANT THIN. I know the possibilities, I am a paying customer! I ask for thin, I get thin! If it brakes I will pay to fix it! So the MANAGER did a medium thick acrylic! To make it worse, its not even. It has ripples! My right index finger is crooked! I told her THREE TIMES!!! she continues to try to file it instead of taking the nail off and re-glueing another, she the MANAGER asked, "u still think crooked?" I said yes. The manager then says to me "it look ok to me, see my nail do that too". Are you fu($#ing kidding me!? My reply was mine doesn't. THE MANAGER* DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!! People started to show, she began moving at a fast pace. The MANAGER was actually rushing to finish the job! I wanted to have my daughters nails done, the MANAGER said "we have not lot time, just paint?" At that piont I did not want them to acrylic my kid because of how §Ħįţţ¥ of a job the MANAGER did on me. I told her yes just a paint, but she told me she had to wait because she had let the people that came in AFTER US go before my littel girl! See, my daughter comes last because the other customers were getting full sets n that means MORE MONEY. And thats a bad business! Un happy me! They painted my childs nails with ONE COAT OF PAINT!! This place charges me 6 fű¢*$įņĝ bucks for one coat! OVER CHARGE!!** 60+$$$ to get this treatment!? I will pass this on to as many people as I can! I live in catskill, I will never go anywhere but kingston again! I thought it would be cool that the nail place it 3 min from my home, I was gunna make that place my regular. Never again. So, I will nevvvver go back! You better confirm what your having done and how much it will cost EXACTLY! Because they will give tou 3 different prices. And they will go up and up! They will do something to your nails and then give you an insane price for it after it's done! They are snotty and rude when you question them about the prices. I was told 3 diffrent prices today. After the man got snotty with me and said they don't lie. My 1st price was 40.00 by a girl who sat down and started doing my nails, which wasn't the girl I made the appointment with. Then she just gets up and walks off. The snotty rude man sits down and pulls out nail clippers. I said what are you doing? She wasn't doing that! He said she dosnt know what she is doing! What!?!?!? Okkkk. So he then gives me a price of 50.00. Okkkk. So the girl finally shows up and I tell her exactly what I want. And the color. I said how much is that going to be?? 50.00. So she is doing what i asked. She changes my nail tips from square to pointy and not really much longer at all. And says that will be 65.00 for that. I said what??? Why? Because you change shape and make longer. (Which they weren't) i said then don't change my shape and cut them! She rolled her eyes and huffed. He came over and got nasty and showed me the price list. Which said long nail between $5-$15. Nothing about shape change. And I promise on my son, they were not much longer. Because when she filed them square she didn't clip them! Then she did t put the pink polish color i wanted on them. Just dipped them in a anc barely pink powder... again didn't ask me. And before you charge someone extra for shape and length let them know first. Don't just do it and expect them to just give you the money. I told her to please just finish my nails I would like to leave. They were obviously upset with me talking about me in their language. She then while spraying my hands with a soft spray, sprayed my phone. They rob people. Be very careful when going there. And yes, I tipped her $10.00. I was the...

4 Stars – A Sweet Treat for Your Feet (But Hold It on the Bathroom Break)

First-time visit and let me tell you—my feet walked in tired and defeated and strutted out feeling like they had just returned from vacation in the Maldives. I booked the Milk & Honey Spa Pedicure with gel polish, and it was exactly what my feet needed after too many days in shoes they had no business being in.

The nail tech? A total pro. She was meticulous with the cut and file—no jagged edges or uneven lengths here. The polish application was flawless—smooth, shiny, and not a bubble or smudge in sight. I stared at my toes longer than I care to admit. Honestly, if there were a beauty pageant for feet, mine would be holding the crown right now.

Why not five stars, you ask?

Well… the bathroom. Let’s just say it didn’t get the same spa-level treatment. I opened the door and immediately backed out like I had walked into a crime scene. Dingy, untidy, and not the kind of place where you want to contemplate life (or wash your hands). So, while my toes got pampered, the facilities were more… post-apocalyptic.

Will I go back? Absolutely, if I’m in the area and my feet start screaming for some TLC. Will I use the bathroom? Not unless it’s an absolute emergency and I have a hazmat suit on standby.
