A little hard to find as the only thing visible from the road is a historic site sign in front of a path that at first appears to be a residents driveway. There are approved parking locations throughout the town the closest being the elementary school. A short, less than a mile, walk will take you to the stone cave. An easy trail, though it does run next to the stream and some rocks can get slippery. This is not a casual walk for inexperienced hikers; you should not bring children under 16. There are also venomous snakes so please keep an eye out, especially with your pets! If all that doesn't daunt you, it is a beautiful place with an other...
