Consistently good food, if you order the right items. Nothing is ever too salty, in fact, you may want to add your own. Definitely not a fancy place. Inside looks like a deli with booths like a diner. Breakfast is basic but tasty. Normal choices, eggs, pancakes, French toast, etc. If you order an omelette you must specify that you want cheese and what kind, otherwise you will only get egg & whatever ingredient you mentioned. Coffee isn't bad either, typical diner coffee, it'll do. Good prices for breakfast. They also make a decent bacon, egg and cheese if you're on the go. For lunch & dinner: Chili is always perfect. Not too spicy but flavorful. I ask for cheese and a hard roll with butter and I'm stuffed after half. Reheats very well. My go-to meal here. Deli sandwiches are slightly anemic but they use Boars Head meats, the only place in town that does. Pasta is always cooked correctly and there are many pasta dishes from which to choose. Ravioli with portobello mushrooms is excellent! Things like jalapeño poppers, and nachos are good, nothing fantastic but what you would expect anywhere. My fiancée always gets the barbecue chcicken wings. He said the meat isn't rubbery. AVOID THE PIZZA. Not sure why it gets good reviews but it really is awful. Also, avoid the tacos. The ground beef in their food is not seasoned, not even with salt and pepper, so skip dishes with that as a main ingredient because it is bland and disappointing. Bread comes with every meal, and soup or salad comes with an entree. Salad is always fresh, and soups are home-made. Entrees can run into $15+ more per plate but you do get a lot of food. Nightly specials Mon-Thurs so take advantage of free dessert, kids eat free or pasta for $5.95 nights. Staff is friendly and...
Read moreToday was the first time ordering here. The delivery was pretty good and close to on time. I ordered a white sicilian pizza with grilled chicken topping. It was not really as soft as it should have been, the crust was real hard (over-baked). Though I did not request it to be soft which could be on me. The worst part about it was that the chicken is not freshly grilled, its frozen processed chicken with it peppered and stuff. At the end of the day it was not really that bad but I ordered this because I have stomach issues and no top teeth...which is why it needed to be soft and I hoped for fresh plain grilled chicken that was bland. I would have enjoyed it more without the chicken...now I know. Edit: I ordered another without the chicken and requested a softer sicilian pizza. It was much better and...
Read moreThe WORST pizza I've ever had. I paid $13.40 for a medium mushroom. I waited a half hour. When I got it home I found that it was more like a small in size. The pie was waterlogged (not greasy, but waterlogged - either someone spilled water on it or the sauce itself is all water). A good bit of the cheese and mushroom had sloughed away from the slices (some off onto the cardboard box). The cheese wasn't properly cooked (and all came off when I tried to lift each slice out). The slices were not cut all the way through. The crust was soggy and tasteless. Within minutes it was stone cold. This pizza was absolutely, without a single doubt GROSS. I can't say anything about the rest of the menu (and I won't eat there again), but avoid the pizza...
