Westgate Park — Attraction in Town of Gates

I like the fact that they have the lights on til around 9:30 over the basketball courts... but as a responsible adult, I should be long gone from a park like this by the time lights are needed... it's good for kids during the day, playground, swings, B.B. courts, Tennis courts, baseball fields, a picnic pavilion with a grill... not bad to take your dogs to either to stretch their legs, just make sure you pick up after your pups!!... and be gone by dark time, cause interesting characters come out after the sun...

Cute little park that has a little bit of everything for a family gathering. The lodge that they have there didn't have any a.c so that was the only downfall. But it still accommodated a good amount of people. I attended a graduation party here. And everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, with the exception of the heat. It was high 80's. I am only leaving a 1 star so someone can come out and fix or rope off the broken teeter totter , the springs are broken on both sides and it is very dangerous, but it is probably the most popular "ride" at the park, the kids love it. If a parent isnt there to supervisor I could see a child getting very hurt. Town of Gates, please do something for the kids who frequent this park! Other than that the park...
