Updated 9-1-22. Playground is not ♿️ accessible. No "Park" sign on Rte 19. It's BEHIND Hamlin Rec Bldg & library. The Ginormous wooden playground is like a maze and my grandkids love it! It is raised up a step & completely mulched in by a wooden border, so wheelchairs, strollers or wagons would have to be lifted up about 10" into it, unless you access it from the rear (west) side where the (missing) wheelchair swing & kid swings are located. Baby swings are available too. They took out the shade tree & ruined the only shaded bench for parents on the playground. PG is all Full sun now. Nearest shade is 50 ft away. Pretty well maintained wood structure. Bees have not been an issue on the wooden pg. !! NO BATHROOMS !! 1 porta john with bees. Could possibly use library bathroom? 2 picnic tables under a pavilion, not ♿️ friendly. No grill. No smoking. Has garbage can. Raised concrete...
Read moreWe walk down to this wooden playground whenever the weather is nice. It is shady (so good in the hot temperatures), well kept (have never gotten a sliver) and is HUGE! It is the kind of playground I wish I could have played on when I was a kid.
Alright fine, I still run around with my kids all over it. I just can't fit in to some of the more secret spots.

Read more3.5☆ 2025 New climbing ball added! Large, Freshly painted & very well maintained wooden play structure that kids love to climb with lots of little "hiding places". Large, spacious rec park with numerous & various sport fields. 1 Pavilion & tables.
NO BATHROOMS!!!! 1 PORTA JOHN (FAR from playground!) or, go to the library. Biggest drawback to being ♿️ & having multiple ages kids at this park.
