Pomona Park Clubhouse — Attraction in Town of Haverstraw

Terrible I will never book a party through them! They said I had 7hrs in the venue and that includes setup and breakdown. And my party was 3 to 7pm. I was told I had to be out the place by 7:30. So The time to set up should have been 12:30 but instead was give 1pm and they didn’t open the door for us to set up until 2pm. That gave my set up crew 1 hr to set up for the party. And again My party was 3pm to 7pm and people was setting up as the party was going on since they wasn’t giving time to set up. An incident happened at the very end of the party and they said that voided the contract and resulted in me losing my $400 deposit. They said they saw it on the cameras but then I mentioned that they already voided the contract before that even occurred since I was supposed to be able to set up at 1pm (which really should have been 12:30pm if it was a true 7 hrs) and didn’t get to until 2pm. The manager claims that it’s hearsay that they opened at 2pm. So I asked him if I could check the camera to see when they opened the door he refused to show me. Them opening the door 1hr late and them not giving me a full 7hrs (opening at 12:30pm) basically ruined the party and cut into the party time. This place is horrible they say 7hrs and telling me I have to be out by 7:30. And then tells me they will open the door at 1pm which only gives me 6 and half hours but then opens door at 2pm and I only get 5 and a half hrs total. And not even 7hrs so I already felt robbed before they kept my $400 deposit. NEVER BOOK HERE!! HORRIBLE PLACE!!! THEY DIDN’T EVEN INFORM US THAT THEY WAS KEEPING THE DEPOSIT! HORRIBLE...
