TruCare Pharmacy — Local services in Town of Haverstraw

For reasons that are far beyond my comprehension, the Phaacist is always rude every time I visit. This is most unfortunate since I have moved my relationship from CVS to this neighborhood small business, which appears to he family owned. On this last occasion, I was sent a coupon digital coupon when I received a text notification from my doctor that the Rx has been submitted. When I attempted to redeem the coupon which appeared to be related to TruCare pharmacy, the pharmacist yelled out with other customers that he is not going to lose money by applying my coupon and accused me of trying to make him lose money. I told him I'm not asking him to and there was no need for him to be rude to me...andI should have said yet again. I also should have not retrieved the prescriptions and requested to have the doctor reroute them. But nevertheless, despite my attempt to support local businesses, I will not subject myself to such poor treatment and poor customer service in this attempt. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to other patrons in my community. Sal and his staff at TruCare Pharmacy have been my go-to place for over 15 years and almost 20 years for my family. Beyond being knowledgeable, well-versed, and skilled at their field; they are kind, compassionate, and empathetic with every interaction. They are the complete package in regards to going “above and beyond”. On several occasions they have quite LITERALLY saved my grandmother’s life. For that, we are eternally grateful. The truepack provided by this pharmacy has added quality, agency, and autonomy for my 91 year old grandmother in that she is able to self-administer her own medication without worrying about missing/forgetting. Personally, Sal and his staff have spent time on explaining rationale for medications and even referred me to a fantastic doctor. Without them, I don’t know where or how my family would manage and navigate the difficulties and stressors that come with medication management. They are always by our side whenever we need them and treat us as if we were their family. Forever...

Convenient location, but you cannot beat good service, and there, the service Sucks. I have tried, but can no longer put up with owner's (Sal) rudeness & need to cause drama with customers & staff . He embarrassed & treated staff like idiots, I felt bad for them. He seemed to like to belittle people, and play games with your meds. He'd told me he'd order your specific brand because one have me a headache, then,make me wait days, just to then give me the ones he knew made me ill that he had the whole time anyway. Higher prices than CVS to boot. I Recommend not going to this pharmacy. He would also yell at you if you went Somewhere else. I got my records from him & don't plan on going back.
