This theatre was a major dissapointment upon my first visit. I recently went to see John Wick 4 and booked the entire outing online using AMC website. The booking process was pretty straightforward, I was able to select my seats and I was prompted to purchase food, snacks and beverages prior to my trip. This was exciting and to be honest was a major selling point to me being that the purpose of going to this theatre was to both enjoy a meal and a movie simultaneously. I was considering going to iPic Theatre who offers similar options however I chose AMC DINE-IN since it was the closer option. I opted out of purchasing food online (luckily) and decided to skip dinner just enjoy my meal at the theatre along with my movie. I used google to map out my ride and adjusted the arrival time to the perfect time to arrive on time, order food and sit down to enjoy the movie trailers, eat and see the movie. Upon arrival, with a hungry stomach eager to try this new Gem close by, I was welcomed to the concession stand which displayed a menu of food items which read "UNAVAILABLE" on nearly every food item listed with the exception of a few other items. Disappointed and hungry I asked the concession worker (Female) what are my options, to which she replied, nothing is available the kitchen is closed." I then responded, "Well what Is available?," to which she replied, "Popcorn, Candy and Drinks." Mind you I was starving and it was 10pm. I quickly remembered the online ordering process did not prompt me that the kitchen would be closed at the time of booking the movie. Long story short, I endured a great movie on an empty stomach with nothing to eat but popcorn and soda. This experience totally turned me off with this theatre, I hope no one else was forced to undergo the same. I guess the broken soda machine and big table affixed in front of me empty with no food really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLet me preface by saying I havenāt been to a movie theater in ages so I donāt know if Iām just not in with the times but continuing on, I bought my tickets online for a matinee showing (any shows before 4pm are 30% so thatās a plus I would say) I walk into the lobby and walk towards the concession stand cause I was buying popcorn and a drink. I walk up to the line and thereās nobody else in the lobby. I get an acknowledgment that theyāll be with me in a min so I was like no problem take your time. At this point I just was standing there talking to my brother because it seemed like they were going to busy for a bit. I see out of the corner of my eye the woman points her finger at me and starts yelling come??? Like okay??? Iām not a child??? I order my food, my brother is on the spectrum so he has a hard time ordering so he was debating on what candy he should get, ( wouldnāt have taken more than 20 seconds for him to pick) when she says āsir you need to pick now thereās a line behind youā okay itās 2pm on a Weekday, I turn around and thereās one person behind us like what makes my order less important than anyone elseās?? Whatever I push pass it, I go to take my card out and it wasnāt anywhere near the scanner and she says donāt put your card in with an attitude, I work in retail so I kind of get it to an extent with people shoving their cards in before it can process but like I didnāt even have my card near the card reader, anyways the guy scanned my tickets and was kind of enough to explain the process of how the online tickets work and how there was suppose to be an employee at the front scanning tickets which I really appreciated and helped us find our theater. The popcorn was ok so was drinks, seats are comfortable. Wouldnāt pay $16 to come here but $9 on a weekday before 3 is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible dining experience. The movie experience in terms of the electric reclined seating and adequate screen size, but don't order anything but popcorn, soda, and/or milkshakes. I've been here three times since they offered the dining experience with each getting gradually worse. The first time everything on the menu was available so between the group we ordered 3 types of milkshake which were all delicious and burgers. The burgers were actually good. They butter the buns like Wendy's, but burger meat was closer to Five Guy's style. This made me want to come back to this theater versus the ones closer to me. Second time I visited, the grill was down, so no burgers. Also, the Vanilla milkshake was removed, so was not able to try that flavor this time. I got the chicken tenders, which were OK, but not worth the price I payed. I thought maybe they were just off because it was a holiday and most places were closed that day. Oh, how wrong I was. Third time they removed even more from the menu, served cold fries, and grill was down indefinitely. The order taker didn't know what was on the menu nor how to efficiently take our order. Instead of letting us order the sampler we had to order items separate which pushed our total to nearly $100, which was far more expensive than the other times we chose dine-in food. Also, forgot to ask for rewards card, kept making us repeat our order, and didn't package the correct sauces we requested for the same, this time sub-par chicken tenders. The milkshakes are good but that may be gone from the menu soon as well. If you just get popcorn and soda from here you'll be OK. You'll also avoid overpaying for a sub-par movie experience. It's disappointing that this is one of the few dine-in...
