I feel like I need to " review" this just so others may see this before they make the mistake my family did. I thought that bringing my toddlers to a wave free bay would be a great alternative to the waves across the parkway, I've never been so repulsed in my life, there were goose droppings everywhere and plaguing the water, both floating and on the seafloor, I cannot believe they even allow bathing in this water and according to my Google search it was closed last week exactly for this reason. Wish I had done research before , disgusting beyond belief! Wish I didn't Google how sick goose droppings can make you.

Lot 5 is in my opinion the best place to park before a concert. Bathroom, gift shop, food, a playground, and of course the actual beach and the Theater entrance. New food and seating areas feels so upscale. Love the new Addition. DISCOUNT TICKETS sold here for only $25.00 just a few feet away from where you scan your ticket to get in. Stop and really look. They are under a palm tree and they won’t solicit you so pay attention to a little red & white sign. These are absolutely a steal. They will only have a few shows and they rotate every time they go.

From middle school throughout high school I lived in Dix Hills but before that I grew up in Kew Gardens, Queens and until I was 14 years old every single weekend in summer except when I was away at daycamp, my family went to field number five. It’s beautiful out here it’s been renovated. I love it and the lighthouse was gorgeous. The little boardwalk to the lighthouse was spectacular and of course the beach clean, the dunes are beautiful. Who love Jones Beach? Thank you, Robert Moses.

We came here because Field 6 was full. My kids actually liked Field 5.

Pro: the water is shallow, warm and calm. No waves. So it's perfect for little kids who want to have a taste of the ocean. There are little fishes, horseshoe crabs, crabs all over. My kids like them. The facilities are family friendly. There's a playground. The bathroom and changing room are clean. There's a restaurant. Parking is plenty. Con: there are (geese?) poops all over the beach. Overall, I recommend it if...
