I am extremely disappointed I was lied to buy one of their representatives and as like some others have said when I went to write this review I Started reading all of the other reviews and I really wished I would’ve read the reviews before purchasing tickets with them I saw the pink concert last night when I ordered the tickets I told the representative that I wanted three tickets he told me the best seats available for my price range witch was 150.00 a ticket. Where side view seats I told him I don’t think we would be able to see from those seat . He told me we would have a perfect view we will be closer to the stage and that she goes all around the stage I told him I was still unsure and he promised me that they were good seats and that I will have a good view . I don’t understand how people can not care about how there lying to people for whatever reason I don’t know I don’t know if he just didn’t want to continue to look for me I just know I wish I never called that number to get my tickets our seats where horrible the view was horrible we were So far to the side we were in the dark none of the lights from her amazing light show went on us or reached us when she was in the air during her performance the performance was blocked by the big viewing screen and the back of the lights . She did not perform in a circle like he explained that she was going to . Pretty much everything he told me about my tickets were a lie . After I get done writing this review I’m going to write a review also to Nassau Coliseum where we were sitting they shouldn’t even be selling tickets For those seats The rows next to us were blocked off because how bad the view would have been also I don’t know who made the decision to open our section and sell tickets how did think we were going to feel not being able to have any of the lightning affect on us also not be able to see her amazing air show . But now back to the representative who lied to me . When I was purchasing the tickets he told me that these were the best and it was hard to get tickets cause I was looking for three of them in a row after I purchased them for myself and my two friends my friends daughter wanted to also go and a couple of day after our purchase they purchased three tickets for less than I paid for our tickets and they had much better seats . I was so looking forward to this concert and I am very upset that my view was so bad I really hope they close that section so no one else goes through this very unfair. I have seen quite a few videos him other people that have gone and also my girlfriends daughters it seems like everybody had an amazing view that was within the circle of the stage definitely should not have that section open for seating and definitely should not have representatives working for your company that will lie to customers just to sell a ticket...
Read moreFirst, I want to mention that the "new" Nassau Coliseum is modern, clean, and the staff is extremely helpful and pleasant.
The biggest issue I have here is that I don't understand why they bothered to reduce the seating capacity by almost 3,000 seats. The developers mentioned that by doing that, they were able to create a new walkway inside the arena to ease congestion in the main concourse... well, that didn't work out!
The main concourse is just as congested as it always was. Bathroom lines are blending into concession lines it's and creating a mess for people who just want to get to their seats. Also, the new walkway inside the arena seems to only be used by people who want to get a better look at the game or concert. Not cool.
Renovations took almost 2 years to complete. The developers had every opportunity to expand the existing concourse out a couple of feet. That would of solved so many problems, but I guess almost $200 million dollars wasn't enough to do a project like that.
The concession stands here are much different than other arenas. They are identical to the stands at the Barclays Center. You can purchase your typical foods and drinks, but you also get a "local" flavor from some of the top restaurants on Long Island. It's a great idea, just be willing to dish out a few more dollars than you probably expected.
Parking issues here made the local news. There was an uproar in disappointed customers who had to pay $40 to park when they got to the arena. They've since addressed that issue. If you still continue to park when you arrive at the arena, the price remains $40. However, if you pre-pay for a parking pass on Ticketmaster, it'll cost you anywhere between $5 and $20, depending on the event.
In my opinion, I feel that there was a huge missed opportunity here to make the Nassau Coliseum really special. I also don't think it's been as successful as they thought it would be. There have been some amazing acts that have played, or will play here, but having a minor league basketball team as your primary tenant and only attracting a handful of paying customers can't be good for business.
I have to say though, If you haven't been to a concert here yet, you should really check it out considering the acoustics in the building are probably the best out of all the arenas in the...

My wife & I saw Stevie Nicks last night, and while the show was good, the shortcomings of the 'new' Coliseum are enough to make me never go back again.
And then of course, the traditional 50 minutes trying to get out of the lot capped off what should have been a great evening.
My advice? Save your money, go see a show at MSG...
