READ BEFORE YOU BUY A MATTRESS THROUGH SLEEPARE Edit after 3 months: We were sold the Helix Midnight mattress at the showroom with the pretense that we can switch out the topper (debating between 2 firmness levels). And if it still didn't feel right, we can return it within the 100 days. We requested the firm topper after a month since the bed was too soft. They sent the topper and we still found the bed was caving in as we sat in bed, woke up with neck and back pains like never before. Honestly think the mattress on the Helix is just too springy and unsupportive and it was expensive. We wanted to return the mattress within 2 months of delivery. Corporate customer service is really unprofessional, it takes a week to reply to an email, I've left voicemails on their customer service line as no one answered and never received call backs. After a few weeks we finally got through the phone line and spoke with Bruce, customer service manager. He said that we already did an exchange and our sale was final. No where on the website's return policy or on the paperwork or in any email correspondence regarding the topper request, was there any disclosure that this will lead to a FINAL sale. The website states, if your bed is too soft/firm, customer service can send a topper to solve the problem and it won't affect the trial period. I sent an email to the COO, Nigora and after a week she also replied with the same response, that I already did an exchange and they only allow 1 exchange or refund per customer. She offered to do an "another" exchange but I'm not looking to be stuck with another mattress and definitely don't want to do business again with this company. I never exchanged the mattress, only requested a firmer topper. I have reported this to BBB but just wanted any purchaser to be aware of the bait and switch and play on words with their return policy. I still expect to receive my refund and have this mattress picked up from my house. I am spending a lot of time and frustration for my right to return for a refund. This place is amazing. Malcom Moyen who works there was awesome. He was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. His first question to me was “what position do you sleep in?” It was my first time going here and I took my mom with me who said “it looks like such a small place, this is going to be interesting to see what they have”. I went to the location at 2138 Hempstead Tpke, East Meadow, NY 11554. But I was impressed. This place has a lot of the top-of-the-line mattresses you can’t find in any stores other than just ordering online but then you can’t try them. They have Helix and Brooklyn Bedding which both got excellent reviews. My personal choice was the Helix Dawn Elite which is made specifically for stomach sleepers which is what I am.
