Furniture Weekend Plus — Attraction in Town of Herkimer

The gentleman was very helpful. Furniture, an excellent quality. I do have an odd experience, only brought on by owners rules apparently, carried out by sales person. I needed to use the restroom. I saw it and as I was about to close door, the sales associate told me customer restroom was next door over. I thought it was the customer one as it had sign and was clean and nice. He sent me to one without a sign and upon entering saw it was dirty with cleaning supplies and brooms,etc.. I was disgusted at best as the bathroom that was clearly for customers wasn't broken. Door was ajar and no sign of its not being useable. I found a lovely la-z-boy set there. Did I mention I didn't buy it? This would not have been my first la-z-boy furniture purchase. I just bought a house and had sold all of my previous furniture. I was replacing with what I got from sold furniture. This store is not near a gas station with a restroom, nor was there a sign on door. Had there been I would not have gone in as I had surgery and have had to use restroom more since. Not a...

Furniture weekend plus was amazing. Had been all over Utica area looking for 2 recliners. No luck just by chance we drove to Herkimer thinking well maybe we can find 2 we liked. To our amazement the store was really big. We had seen the ads on television and didn't think it was a big store. We were surprised wow. We talked to Dave the owner not just another salesman. He was awesome, we stopped in and first thing he said was have a look around. Which we liked no pressure, no one following you around trying to talk you into something. He said if we find something we liked let him know. And we did the whole experience was great. His prices were better than anything we saw. As we were purchasing 2 at the same time, we asked if he good do any better on price. The chairs were already on sale but he took a little more off anyway, Great people to deal with for sure. After a phone call just heard between my wife and Dave there. I am very disappointed in their business practices. We used to be loyal customers spending thousands there and we will never shop there again. We were told things were in and they were waiting for the rest to deliver. Today is delivery day (6 weeks later) of a very large order, missing the crucial piece a mattress. Now with family in town where do they sleep? The professional way my wife spoke asking if there was anything that could be done and the snickering/lack of care and finger pointing from the boss there was unprofessional. I am in customer service for my work and I would expect disciplinary actions for the handling by him. Please be cautious buying here as it was a very...
