Although I did have a good experience a year ago when I had my skis mounted there. Did a good job for a good price. Also they waxed and sharpened my other ones more then once throughout least season. Always was very happy with their work and I also did leave a 5 star review.
Well that has changed this season, because to me now this shop is run by some irresponsible kids.
I understand you can forget to service skis things happens although it never happened to me anywhere in the last 15 years. Anyway I waited 10 minutes while somebody serviced them but I couldn't ski them. It was a sloppy job. so I returned and they fixed them for me but that was a waste of time. Now the second time it happened just a few days ago. Dropped them off on Friday April 2nd and I said I would return on Tuesday April 6th and I wrote the day on the ticket. Also I said to please take time and don't rush while sharpening and waxing. I didn't want a repeat from January. I confirmed that the shop would be open and was told yes my skis would be ready. Guess what when I came back a young man looked at my skis and asked me to wait a few minutes. Seriously? You've just realized that these skis weren't done?Come on. They have been sitting on that spot since Friday and no one ever looked at them? Then I was asked to wait I said no I am not waiting because of my previous experience. Left the shop very unhappy and angry.

Called and ask how there rentals work for reservations or do we just come day of , and if they have size availability and didnāt even finish my sentence to be met with ābe a normal human being and come pick up when you want them , everyone in this world forgets what it is to be normal now ā . I had to deduct stars though because of the equipment (the most important part of the entire renting experience). I rented snowboard boots/board/helmet for ~$47 after taxes for janky gear. The boots were loosening up as I moved to the point where I couldn't do 1 full run down a green without having to tighten the boots MULTIPLE times. Literally had to tighten it after I hopped off the lift, after half way through, then again when I reached the bottom. I'm still a beginner at snowboarding and this loose boot made it very difficult for me to learn properly because I thought I was doing something wrong the entire time when I couldn't turn a certain way before I realized it was the boot.
They should have done their due diligence in checking the equipment to make sure everything is working perfectly. I let them know that the boots were loosening up a lot on its own when I returned the gear, but I didn't get any apologies or anything. I would definitely recommend anyone renting here to double check (or ask them to) the gear before leaving for...
