I had the unfortunate displeasure of dealing with the Fireplace Factory in Bohemia, and I feel compelled to warn potential customers about their unsavory and unprofessional practices. This establishment's conduct is nothing short of a disgrace, and my experience with them has been a regrettable nightmare.

My ordeal began when I encountered a sleazy sales representative named Zach, who promised that signing a contract with the Fireplace Factory would not be final until they had taken measurements and provided a final price. It seemed like a reasonable enough assurance at the time, but what followed was nothing short of a bait-and-switch tactic.

Multiple miscommunications and a series of rude text messages later, the issue was escalated to the so-called owner, Mike. To my dismay, Mike proved to be just as untrustworthy as Zach. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he brazenly declared that he would not honor the referral discount he had initially promised. He argued that the price he was offering was as low as he was willing to go and that if I was dissatisfied, he would refund my money.

To process the refund, he demanded that he have a copy of my driver’s license. For a company as unprofessional and shady as the Fireplace Factory, there is absolutely no justification for demanding such personal information.

This entire experience has been nothing short of disgusting and far below any reasonable standard of expectation for a business. It is clear that the Fireplace Factory in Bohemia lacks integrity, professionalism, and common courtesy. I implore you, potential customers, to avoid this unscrupulous establishment. Do not under any circumstances give them a single penny upfront or sign any documents until you have received a final quote. Your hard-earned money and peace of mind deserve far better than what this company...

When looking for a fireplace insert we knew we found the right place when we arrived at The Fireplace Factory. Their store was immaculately clean and had many sample fireplaces to look at on display. Zach our salesperson was very knowledgeable on what would work best for us. He wasn't pushy and helped guide us to what would work best for us. He helped to make the buying experience painless.

After we purchased our new fireplace, Steve the service agent reached out to us. He kept us updated on when the technician would come out and measure, the status of the when they would receive our fireplace and helped to setup a time for installation. Steve was always available for answering our questions and returned our messages promptly.

During the day of installation Andre and his coworker arrived. They reviewed the process of what was going to happen during the install. They brought in blankets to cover the carpeting to make sure our rugs stayed clean. They climbed on the roof (at my request) to make sure the chimney cap was in good condition. During the installation they installed the fireplace and I thought it looked great. Andre told me it could look better so they removed it, chiseled away some brick and cement from the existing fireplace and reinstalled it. He was right it looked much better. It was nice to know that they took pride in their work and to me this reflected positively on the whole company.

To conclude, both my wife and I are happy campers. We just love the look and feel of our new insert. It brings our den to life. We knew from day one we buying from the best, and each step of the way...

If you are looking for a local business that actually treats their customers with care and concern, this company is the best choice for hot tubs, outdoor kitchens and fireplace needs. One of our fireplace doors literally exploded. We felt we needed a custom replacement because the size was not compatible with glass doors from places like Home Depot. I know we would never have received the attentive, personal service at some large corporate store that we received at Fireplace Factory. Our salesman took his time with us and we felt, even though our job was relatively small, he worked with us until we found what we liked within our price range. We did have a slight issue with measurement confusion that resulted in the need to remeasure, but we were always happy with the service and response to our needs. Steve, who handles the progress of the job, is wonderful to work with. Every appointment is scheduled quickly by text and he follows up the day after the service with a text inquiring about our satisfaction. Every person who came to our home was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. The finished project is beautiful. The new fireplace doors are well made and sturdy and quite an upgrade in design and appearance. I highly recommend this company for quality...
