Marcellus Park — Attraction in Town of Marcellus

A wonderful resource for those living near Marcellus, NY. There are ball fields, a playground for children, volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts, trout fishing in Ninemile Creek, facilities for family picnics, and trails for walking or jogging. The trails include scenic stretches through woods and along the creek. The park is dog friendly, and they even have a fountain where water can be directed to a bowl at ground level to rehydrate your canine companion. UPDATE-1: Each year, Marcellus has a street fair. This year booths were lined up on either side of Main Street on Saturday where crafts and food items were for sale. We purchased some very nice pottery items and discovered a new chocolatier, Gretchen's, from Auburn New York that had opened a branch in Marcellus. Their candy is outstanding. On Sunday, we visited Marcellus Park where there were food trucks, amusement rides for children, and live music....

I have been coming to Marcellus Park for the past 70years. I was there when there was a pool. Mushroom picking was always a favorite with my dad. Broke my collar bone when I was 8 or 9 playing football. My father also known as Big Tony Kowalski took hundreds of trout out of 9 mile. My family was related to the Macholl's who lived across the street from the park. They were care takers of the park and so was my father. When I want peace and beauty there's not to many places that compare to Marcellus in the fall. I have visited the Park at least 500 times over my life. I once was interviewed at the Park by TV 5 I think who asked me several questions about Marcellus Park. I think you could say this is and always will be my favorite place to do most anything. This is just the tip of the iceberg of the many hundreds of possibilities you can enjoy at my Park. My love for this...

We rented the Welcome Center for a family gathering to celebrate a Couple’s Shower. The facility was perfect for our group of 30 people! The tables and chairs were set up with enough room for everyone too gather comfortably. The kitchen area was so handy for food prep and easy cleanup! The staff at the town hall and at the park were super friendly and helpful! The park itself is just wonderful! Peaceful and serine!
