Holy Cow — Restaurant in Town of Marcellus

Wanted to try out this new place. Stopped in on my lunch break around 1:30pm to grab a simple lunch special. Easy you would think, There was about three other people in line including me. The lady at the register is training and is either hard hearing or doesn’t understand English well she wasn’t understanding the other customers request for there sandwich and had to repeat several times and also had to repeat my simple order of a lunch special after repeating my request a few times I was cashed out service was fast indeed I did not think to check and make sure it was right with only a few people ordering but the sandwich I got was not the one I ordered. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to turn around and wait any longer to be fixed. So I called and asked for a manager and told them, My order was made wrong they simply said okay and that was it hung up on me this was my first time there and I will must likely not be returning due to the service they provided I was not pleased this could have been handled in a more professional manner and was not best of luck if that is how you treat...

Visited this sandwich shop for the first time on a snowy day when they were not very busy. Ordered a classic Philly cheesesteak with sauteed onions and peppers. When I took the first bite of the sandwich, I realized where the name of the restaurant came from. It's "Holy Cow!" good. I have a reference for comparison as I visited my daughter often during the 4 years she was in college in Philadelphia and tasted several of the city's famous Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. I don't remember any tasting as good as the one I had here today. The au jus that was added was incredibly good. And, the steak, which I assume was chopped cube steak, was tender, lean, and beefy. Can't wait to bring my daughter here...

Astonishing first impression. I’m not a fan of Philly cheese steaks and neither is my reviewing colleague, so when I say the classic Philly cheese steak is unimaginable, it really says something. The softness in the bun is other-worldly, the warm and tender meat and gooey cheese was delicious. Truly a masterpiece for the very minimal wait. The only reason the food didn’t get 5 stars is because there was an uninvited pickle which jumpscared my unexpecting colleague. Also there was a very tough part of steak in the sandwich, although it wasn’t terrible as this was only a small part of the steak. All in all, I was very satisfied with my food. I will be coming here again...
