Marcellus Lanes (Ice Cream) — Restaurant in Town of Marcellus

This is hands-down the best place in NY to get ice cream. Best pricing and bang for your buck!! I’ve attached pictures of smalls. Tons of options. However, the last time I went I will have to agree with some of these previous reviews - I’ve never encountered the older woman who works there until then - she is rude and miserable. I usually get my sprinkles on the side (as seen in one picture) because the chocolate dip turns them to stone and I like to dip the ice cream into them. It has never been an issue/been questioned until this last time when she was there. “You either get it on it or you don’t, I don’t put it on the sides” were her words. She then did a meager dip into the chocolate and threw a small amount of sprinkles on my ice cream. The younger workers are better, by far! So maybe...

Rudest owner I’ve ever met. We were waiting for almost 20 minutes because she was late which I understand, but the ATTITUDE she came in with was unacceptable. She parked at the furthest possible spot and took her sweet time walking over. The other workers that were there refused to open the door but maybe she didn’t see us. We politely knocked on the door to grab her attention and she gave me a stank eye. We asked her if she could open the door when she finally came and she refused and opened the window first, almost as if she was avoiding us. Marcellus lanes has been The place to go when it comes to cooling off with an icecream cone. You could get a kiddie cone and be overindulgent. The price was right and you knew they had Byrne Dairy ice cream, but now they have switched to another brand. It is not the same, its soupy and doesn't stay on your cone long enough to enjoy it, and the price went up. I dont mind the price going up if it's still the same quality product...there is inflation, but to give me an inferior product and charge me more is just an...
