Ariana Day Spa — Attraction in Town of Mount Pleasant

Wow! In a way I don't even want to rate this spa because then everyone will know that this was by far the best spa experience I've ever had. I've seen many a spa and I've been going for microdermabrasions since I was 18 and Anna the owner did an awesome job on me!

First of all, I was enticed by spa week which I always tend to go to a new place to check and see how it goes and if I'll return. I had a favorite place that I went to but now this is it. When I called, I played phone tag for a few hours, but fortunately got an appointment the next day. The woman I spoke to was very courteous and professional (I had almost booked with another spa but they were so rude I decided against it). I got a microdermabrasion, a classic massage and an unexpected add-on: the sea salt scrub. The spa itself is a little small but has all the amenities I need. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that they had a steam room. Parking spots are limited so I had to wait for a client to leave before I could park (waited less than 5 minutes).

Ok, so the microdermabrasion was as I would usually expect, except that she steamed my face, and really prepped me well with a good scrub and a solution that "melts away blackheads." Anna told me the brand but I can't remember, it felt like an astringent. The machine was very good and unlike other spas, this included extractions! Woo hoo! I love that. Most places it's not included! During the facial she mentioned if I would like a sea salt scrub prior to my massage. I was hesitant because 1. I've never done it before and 2. I don't exactly want to be butt naked in front of the person doing it. Anna assured me that it would be a great experience and that I could wear a bikini that they provided. So I said what the heck why not.

After robing, Anna brought me to a small waiting area while the steam room (for the scrub) was prepped. I had a huge chocolate chip cookie (which was delicious) and water, although there were apples and oranges. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't cucumber/lemon water but I digress. After a few minutes I was taken to the massage room and given instructions and my brand new I saw her open the package bikini. The steam room was small but it was fine for just me and the technician. I laid on the table and she used a large shower head to wet me down and then scrub a dub dub. I felt brand new, like a baby's bottom, but everywhere! After a quick rinse in the shower (also in the steam room) the same technician gave me the massage. Lulu is amazing! That woman can massage me any day. What! I was literally falling asleep. She didn't speak much English but that's ok because her hands did all the talking. I feel so relaxed now. Thank you Anna and Lulu! I'll be recommending to all...

I don't believe I can find the perfect word or words to describe the wonderful experience I had yesterday at the Miriana Day Spa !!! From the moment you walk in there is a peaceful feeling and I immediately was relaxed. The aroma therapy is lovely and the beautiful music playing in the back round almost makes you feel as if you are somewhere else. . . not in your own town. Anna the owner took such wonderful care of us and has a terrific sense of humor. The experience of the Hot Stone Massage was beyond my every expectation!!! The expertise and care of the technician was perfect. Today I have absolutely no pain or knots in my back as I seem to have on a daily basis. I was so relaxed during the massage I actually fell asleep for a short time. My two friends and I plan to return frequently now that we have experienced this heavenly spa. It is absolutely unlike any other spa we had ever been to by far. We are all so happy we found such a fantastic spa. . . I would recommend to everyone to go there and see first hand what I am raving about!! The refreshments are also delicious. . . especially the homemade cookies !! My best friend and I committed to getting together once a month and treating ourselves to a massage. Our time is valuable and treasured, so we set out to find the perfect spa in Westchester county that would meet our criteria.

We visited a lot of places, and while the massages were good, we were growing skeptical of finding the right place…until we walked into Miriana's Day Spa.

From the moment that you are greeted, to the massage, to the time you leave is an experience hard to match. So much so, that a lot of the superficial items we had on our list (steam room, lounge area, robes, etc) we threw out the window.

You truly feel taken care of by every member of the staff. Every member. From owner to masseuse. You can feel the pride and joy they take in their work. And this translates to the experience the client has. There is an amazing energy in the spa that is felt the minute you step in. It is now our regular place, and we still encounter the same experience as in day one.
