Pinecliff Audubon Sanctuary — Attraction in Town of New Castle

A nice 👍 little surprise of a wildlife 🐿️ refuge/Audubon sanctuary in the middle of what's a pretty populated area of Chappaqua. Not a bird watcher or tree enthusiast myself, however I like to get outside with my dog to provide some exercise for us both most days & while I'm honestly unsure of their dog policy (I saw no posted signage on dogs🚫/✅ when there), it was a nice wildlife walk to take both for the pup & myself. My 🐕 is a friendly, 14lbs mighty mini dog who is very obedient off leash, but who's a bit protective of me on the leash, so I had him off leash like I do in most hiking trails. At this sanctuary, there are very nicely maintained trails, including raised, wooden plank "boardwalks" over some of the marshland within, but also some nice spots for my pup to "run wild" a bit & although it's by a major vehicular thoroughfare, it's got a very peaceful feeling back there, mostly undisturbed from The Saw...

Beautiful, serene. Great place to explore. Trails are here. Light walk for the afternoon, even if you are a little bit out of shape, post COVID.
