The best restaurant by far in the area. Everyone is always happy and enjoying themselves without being too loud. Friendly, warm, upbeat, and endearing staff & owner. Staff is professional, polished, attentive, and shows good discretion. Very very clean indoor & seating areas and restrooms. Environment is casual and charming without a jacket or tie within miles. Wide range of food types on a carefully selected menu that changes daily. Food is based on casual French but a large portion of the menu is American, etc. Best burgers, onion soup, salads, mussels marinara, and croque madame & monsieur in the area. Excellent healthy choices! Something for everyone. Universal high quality of food is very impressive given the ridiculously long hours of the restaurant (opens early for breakfast and closes late for dinner; breakfast is more French-themed than lunch or dinner). Kid friendly without having too many kids. Local favorite of regular folk and celebs for casual dining, dates, celebrations, meeting friends, and dining with the boss or clients. Note that Google's "Street View" does not show the actual restaurant. And remember: 5 stars for a French bistro is not the same as 5 stars for a pizza joint ,...
Read moreFrom the moment I walked in I should of known the experience was going to be bad the manager/host was irrated that we didn't have a reservation. In fact when I replied no to having a reservation his response was "awesome". After fidgeting for a few minutes he placed us at one of the 5 open tables he had at the moment. Prices were insane $16 for a 10 ounce bowl of chilli that was the same quality as canned chilli. My wife's $28 dollar chicken dish was dry like really dry. If it had been a living item it would have just moaned water, please water, I need water. Still confused how you can charge $28 for chicken then make jerky. My margarita was $15 and literally tasted like sour mix. Barely worth $6. Given the prices the food quality was sub par. With this food quality you should have bar prices not fine dining. Believe me I manage a fine dining restaurant and there was no fine dining quality in the food quality. No manager ever visited the table to ask how the experience was, which amazes me since they have only 15 tables. For a friday night to have such poor quality is...
Read moreI have been coming here for over 14 years and I have never had a bad, just ok or even “good” experience. It has always been great or better. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming and they will remember you which is a wonderful feeling and really shows how much they care, and appreciate their customers. The food is always delicious with new dishes being added and tried out but they are always happy to make a dish that they had or isn’t shown on the menu if they can as they end up creating a lot of dishes that are extremely popular but they need to remove some in order to try new dishes out. They do serve dishes that are in line with the French name of the restaurant but also have Italian dishes, American dishes etc. They have something for everyone to enjoy and they also have...
