Read moreExpected Band Organ Rally to have a noticeable presence. Finally found it, after driving a large one-way loop of picnic pavilions. Nice to see so many graduation picnic celebrations. Parking spots were a rare find. Found one my small vehicle fit in. Maybe I'm getting too old for this. Even with maybe just 6 or 8 band organs,it was too much auditory chaos for me, as they all seemed to play at once. I recall other years, pre-covid, when there were many band organs and the small cranking ones. It had seemed so delightful back then. Had seen a poster from a previous band organ rally, just the other day, on my Mom's wall. Brought back wonderful memories.

Read moreLocated at Olcott Beach, there's NO "beach" here even though it's a lakefront park. Swim area NOT ♿ accessible. Swim area is down stairs, fenced in & locked today (see pic) and has a concrete sidewalk-lined waterfront swim area between 2 small piers. Krull Park is split in 2. North of Rte 18 is lakefront portion. Large wooded picnicking area closest to the little lakeside shops, restaurants, bars, bathrooms, etc. Very nice, large area. They should remove brush & wild trees blocking much of the view of lake. Or do something with it. The 2nd part of park, thats south of Rte 18: Entrance looks like your going to a maintenance bldg, drive by it to enter park area.
