Went to see what the hype was about?? Everyone's talking about these Lobster rolls!! Arrived at the restaurant which was closed midday for an hour (2:45)to restock and reset from what I gathered. To be honest, I didn't know how I felt about that at first, I was hungry...it said you were Open. Damn...then we enjoyed the day around the area which has tons to do, shopping, eating, a band playing congo music in the Square. We returned around 3 when the line had already established itself to around 15 folks. I knew right then we had found something special. By the time they opened the doors(they handed out water to folks waiting in line, clutch move by the way)there were over 60 folks in line in 92-degree heat waiting to try these Lobster rolls! I wasn't upset by any means anymore, I was excited with anticipation to try these Damn Rolls! How dare I judge what i haven't had yet...We entered and had the most Amazing experience for a small town phenomenon as there was. The folks were understanding and informative, Nice, to say the least. They knew what they had in front of them, and they tackled the job hands down. We ordered the Lobster roll flight with some Hawaiian Slaw and it was all Amazing!! I'm not just saying this, it was delicious, and large portions for what we paid. The place was packed and I was happy to be a part of it. The outside band playing was a nice touch as well. I took a pic without knowledge of the folks working at the time and I swear they were happy and wonderful the whole time. They were swamped the whole time we were there and never faltered. If you've read this far I'm sure you're 2 steps out the door already. Enjoy! And say HI to the staff for me, we'll be back soon!...

I’m unwell. Spiritually. Emotionally. Physically full of lobster and I have zero regrets.
We pulled up to Olcott Lobster Company after hearing the buzz — Olcott Lobster Company this, Olcott Lobster Company that. Even the competition is out here talking slick, trying to throw shade like it’s their job. CLEARLY they need a hug and a better shellfish supplier.
So naturally, we had to see what all the salty drama was about.
That $25 lobster roll? That thing walked out of the kitchen like Beyoncé on a wind machine. Overflowing, golden, juicy, built like a seafood baddie. I took one bite and forgot who I was. My soul left my body and is currently doing backflips somewhere over Lake Ontario. It wasn’t a meal. It was a religious experience.
And the customer service?! IMMACULATE. The sass? ELITE. You will be served premium lobster, a smile, and just enough attitude to keep you humble. I live for it. I want them to insult my sandals and feed me forever. Everyone there is giving “small-town royalty who doesn’t have time for your BS but will still feed you like family.”
We laughed, we cried, we moaned audibly. (Apologies to the family sitting next to us.) The vibe? Fresh. The food? Unholy. The competition? Shaking in their bibs.
I would eat here every day until I morph into a lobster myself and honestly? Worth it.
Moral of the story: when the haters get loud, it usually means the food’s fire. And in this case? 🔥🔥🔥
If you’re out here listening to the haters and skipping this place? That’s a YOU problem. Olcott Lobster Company is out here serving heat while the rest are just stewing in their jealousy and...
Read moreMy wife, daughter, and I drove up to Olcott Lobster Company for the first time yesterday. It was a nice 40 minute ride up there on a beautiful late summer day!
We found parking and joined the very active line which moved along steadily. A pleasant young staff member brought out copies of the menu for us to look over prior to ordering.
We waited in line for 30-35 minutes before placing our order. We were given “beeper” device and found a table on the back patio area.
The 15-20 minutes for our order to come out passed quickly as we chatted and listened to a really nice pane that was playing on the corner, so visitors on both patios could hear.
Our food was delivered to our table by a friendly young lady who was eager for us to try it.
My wife and daughter enjoyed their Connecticut Rolls as much as I loved my Lobster Roll Flight (New England Style (cold with mayo), Connecticut Roll (warm and buttery), and Olcott Fire Roll (warm and buttery with Calabrian peppers)). We also enjoyed their Connecticut Rolls sides that we tried which included the House Made Chips with Old Bay Dusting, the Hawaiian Slaw (SO GOOD!), and the Tator Tots (deep fried with a nice crunch and tender potato center).
Thank you, Olcott Lobster Co., for bringing a little bit of New England to this beautiful area. You have done an incredible job in your debut year for absolutely nailing the feel and flavor that I would expect to find in a coastal New England hot spot.
We will be back before you close for the...
