Eastside Market — Restaurant in Town of Newfane

I wish I could recommend it...because my neighbor raves about the pizza. We ordered a pizza 330pm Sat afternoon. Told 20-25min. Show up 25 min later to pick up. Everyone looked puzzled. Pizza was never made. But instead of telling me the truth--that they never made it-- the worker said it will be just minute they are a little behind on orders....then ran in the back room. I asked the other worker if the pizza was even started and if not... I don't want it any longer (wife and dogs in car-- can't wait another 25min). That worker went to the back room...came back quickly and said no, the pizza wasn't started. I didn't appreciate being lied to by the first worker who was going to have me stand there for 25 min while pizza was started. And never so much as an apology from anyone. The worse part is they still got $25 of my money because I wanted to give my neighbor...who loves this place...a gift card. Sorry...

So the last time I ordered food I get there they tell me half hour I get there in like 45 I didn’t make my food so they make me my food I come back 20 minutes later get it it’s the wrong food ordered a large pizza with cheese Bob sausage this thing has not any thing that I even ordered why do I spend money here daily actually today alone I think I spent 30 bucks so I’m like hey I’ll give some business I call and order a steak sub 650 a call it tell me 20 minutes I show up at 7:20I’m told it’ll be another 15 minutes my food hasn’t even been started so usually I like to give people the benefit of the doubt one time you know accidents happen two times I’m done with you I actually try and avoid going to the new Dollar General because I’d like to support the local businesses but when you get this kind of treatment on a regular basis and you are a regular customer there’s a problem so...

My family and I come up to fish every few months, and this place has been consistent for the last couple years. They have the tastiest $3 breakfast sandwiches, nice cold subs, good coffee, and best of all, the service is SO GREAT. We pre-paid for some cold sandwiches the night before for 6:45am pick up the next morning. We ended up needing to leave a little early the next day, and sure enough, when they opened the doors at 6:27 with a friendly welcome, breakfast sandwiches were hot and ready and the cold cuts were just made and put in the cooler. We were back out the door in a couple minutes.

I love this little shop. I’ll never quit coming back. Please support this great little business to make sure it stays forever.

PS - I don’t give 5 stars unless it’s truly exceptional, and I feel like this...
