Thank you (Shioshi) in the fish dept - I hope I spelt his name right. Appreciate all the help and for always being very helpful. (Ronuel) helped me out we were enough joking around and all smiles. (Ronuel) co-workers were also nice and all smiles when I was making silly goofy comments. It’s very good to see especially in these times. Show support by shopping here. I can’t say enough great things on how great the quality and price it.
Now about ROMEO in the fish dept. I haven’t had any issues but today was crazy. Unbelievable rude and demanding money. Now keep in mind I have always said please and thank you.
I asked him to cut my fish in pieces. All smiles then he calls me over and says“ I know you come here a lot and we always cut your fish. How about showing APPRECIATION by showing me gratitude. I say to him. I do. I’m always polite and always say hello, please and thank you every time. He says again “SHOW APPRECIATION.” I say what are you talking about? He says “ SHOW APPRECIATION”. He keeps saying this over and over and over again. I say so you want me to give you money every time I’m here. He says YES “SHOW APPRECIATION. There are 3 other workers there hearing him talk to me like this and no one says a word. He then leaves my salmon there uncut and doesn’t give me my 3 BOXES of whole shrimp. I have never had any problem tipping but you will not demand money from me for you doing your job. There’s also a sign showing by number how to ask to get you while fish cut. How many other customers has he done this to? The way he said “SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION BY GIVING ME MONEY” it’s very clear he’s used to doing this to other customers. This ignorant behavior will not stop me from shopping here.
So “ (Shioshi) I hope I spelt it right in the fish dept helped me and gave me my 3 boxes of whole shrimp and cut my salmon. Also (Ronuel) helped me out we were enough joking around...
Read moreSTAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION SPOILED FOOD SOLD AND REFUSE TO EXCHANGE OR REFUND. REPORTING TO DEPT OF HEALTH. Both my friend and I bought a prepared packaged potato salad from here and when we got home and taste it, it was sour like the mayonnaise had spoiled. We went back to the store 3 days later, this location is 45min away from us and further out of the way, to ask the store to exchange for a fresh potato salad. We werent even asking for a refund but just for a unspoiled product and they refused. Saying no return right now, and when I said I dont want to return but only exchange then they made some excuse no exchange past 24hrs. I said no where in the store is this listed anywhere, not even on the receipt so how am I suppose to know. Then the man said he tastes every food that gets delivered and guarantee freshness so Is he saying he tasted every potato salad packages, obviously not, and that would be unsanitary. I explained I live 45min away and it's not so easy to get to their store so I came on the 3rd day to exchange. They spoke broken English that is barely understandable and do not stand behind their products. So if you buy anything spoiled you won't get money back or even an exchange. I rather spend my money at another store. They just lost business for my family and my friends family and all of our relatives and friends because we are posting this on social media Facebook, instagram,...
Read moreI use the Hmart at the corner of Herricks Rd and Hillside Ave, Williston Park, mostly for the eggs which are often on sale, and the plastic containers of Roasted Sunflower Seeds. They've got an extensive vegetable/fruit section, and also, being Asian, an interesting selection of dried and frozen ocean dwelling creature bits and plants. Also, a selection of fresh fish etc. If you register for the club tab you gain points for your purchases and every thousand points rates a $10 coupon against any purchase. Browsing the aisles you may find some interesting items you'll not find in other standard grocery stores. Parking very adequate and early in the day best for a quick visit. It is not unusual to find a sampling station or two set up offering tasty temptations to try something adventuresome and interesting, usually during heavier store...
