There are countless boba shops in New York, but not many can compare to the Moge Tee located in New Hyde Park. First of all, the space is open, clean and modernly designed with beautiful, earthy tones. Secondly, the service is impeccable. I have been there a handful of times already, since their grand opening, and was greeted by friendly staff and warm welcomes each and every time.
Most importantly, their drinks are AMAZING! I'm a huge boba fan, and have likely ingested hundreds of boba tea drinks throughout my lifetime (and still counting). Moge Tee drinks don't make me feel like crap afterwards because they use FRESH FRUIT in their beverages. The mango tea slush tastes like REAL mango because that's what they use, the super fruit green tea contains slices of fresh citrus fruits, and my favorite drink, the taro bubble milk tea, isn't purple and powdery like you'd find in other boba shops. Instead, you'll find an ample amount of FRESH taro settled on the bottom of your cup with perfectly chewy golden boba!
You can customize your drinks however you'd like, adjusting sugar and ice levels to suit your preferences. I've also ordered water based (as opposed to tea based) fruit slushes for my kids, not having to feel any mom guilt ... well, because they are made with fresh fruit and I can lower sugar levels to 0-30%! You won't find pouty, empty-handed kids here because there is something for everyone!
Thanks Moge Tee for allowing us a space to enjoy healthier boba drinks with loved ones! So glad you opened at this location! You will definitely be seeing...

This place is such a hidden gem!! I'm always on the lookout for new boba spots, and we stumbled across this one—so glad we did! What made it even better was discovering they also serve freshly made onigiri—and let me tell you, I’m hooked!!!
Before heading out on a road trip, we stopped by and grabbed a few onigiris (beef, pork belly, chicken karaage) and a spam musubi. My absolute favorite was the chicken karaage—crispy, juicy, and it had this perfect little spicy kick that I loved! The spam musubi was a close second—super flavorful and satisfying. The beef and pork belly were good, but didn’t stand out as much compared to the other two, especially because the rice to filling ratio was skewed! I think that would be my only suggestion, even if you don't increase the filling, maybe decrease the rice! 🥰
Of course, we had to try the drinks too! We got our go-to: peach green tea with regular ice, 50% sugar, and aloe. It was perfect—refreshing, not too sweet, just the way I like it.
All in all, this spot is totally worth checking out—especially if you're into tasty bites and a good boba fix. Can’t wait to come back and will be bringing back everyone I...
Read moreSo happy there’s a Moge Tee in New Hyde Park. I had the taro milk tea and berry tea slush. It was made to order and customizable to sugar level. I can see why there was a line because all drinks are freshly made on the spot and fresh ingredients are used. My taro drink was not made with purple food coloring and powder but with real taro and you can taste the taro and the true texture of a taro drink. The berry tea slush is made with strawberries and blueberries and green tea and so refreshing on a hot day. There’s also option of non caffeinated drinks. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients and all the effort that is placed to make the drinks. The Moge Tee team at New Hyde Park really take pride in making each drink for their customers to enjoy. Definitely will be back to try the super fruit tea which I...
