From a chance encounter to now, my journey with this jewelry store has been nothing short of extraordinary. A few months back, I wandered in with no intention beyond casual window shopping. Little did I know, that day marked the beginning of a remarkable relationship with not just the store but with Jack, the jeweler par excellence.

Jack has since meticulously repaired 2 precious items for me – each a delicate heirloom piece of sentimental value that others had been unable to repair. Beyond these restorations, he has crafted for me a custom necklace, bespoke earrings, and a ring so exquisite it takes my breath away.

I highly recommend Manhasset Jewelers for shopping & repairs. I brought in my engagement ring to be resized, not realizing that it was a more extensive job due to the ring having micro pavé and having to size down significantly (two full sizes.) Jack was incredibly helpful to me through the process. He was honest and upfront about the risks of resizing a micro pavé ring but assured me that measures would be taken to protect the delicate setting. For the record, when I brought this ring to other jewelers in my area to ask their opinions on resizing, not a single one of them even bothered to warn me about the risk of losing stones and none of them offered to tighten each stone after resizing. I just got engaged, so I took my ring to many locations before leaving it with someone I felt was trustworthy. Jack did not disappoint! My ring was resized by Manhasset Jewelers in a very timely manner, so I didn’t have to part with my new engagement ring for long. I cannot tell that the ring was altered in any way. After 37 yrs of wearing my engagement ring daily, I noticed that I had indeed chipped it. To say the least I was beyond upset. A dear friend and colleague suggested that I go to visit her jeweler, Jack of Manhasset Jewelers. Upon meeting Jack, I felt that I had come to the right place. He talked me down off the edge of the ledge and informed me of multiple solutions to my dilemma including recutting/polishing my stone plus resetting my diamond in a more protective setting or strategically resetting my diamond to hide the chip. Since this was an opportunity to update and renew my setting, Jack indulged my request by showing me numerous options in his showcase. He went over pros and cons of settings I fancied and ultimately I settled on a classic 3 stone setting. We discussed natural vs. lab grown side stones as well as platinum versus gold....quite an education! Jack guided me though the many choices without any pressure to choose the most expensive option but rather what fit my lifestyle/occupation. Further, Jack ordered a mock setting so I could see/try on the new setting. I received excellent service and am quite pleased with my result. I can honestly say, Jack is now my jeweler...
