I miss the old Bounce. It had a unique charm that made it feel like a haven for thrill-seekers. The new iteration offers exciting activities like taser tag, roller skating, and mini golf, which undoubtedly bring a lot to the table, but something crucial seems to have been lost in the transition. The trampolines that once filled the space with energy and laughter are now disappointingly underwhelming. To make matters worse, the only foam pit available is relegated to the area designed for children aged five and under, leaving older kids craving that classic bounce experience.
One of the most glaring absences is the iconic bounce basketball, which had become a signature attraction at the old venue. That element of fun has been replaced with an atmosphere that feels overly chaotic and unstructured. The staff, who seem to be primarily young and perhaps inexperienced, lack the training necessary to maintain both safety and enjoyment. I saw a poor associate at the front desk repeatedly asking for assistance, which was disheartening. Meanwhile, the associates in the jump section appeared to be congregating together, seemingly indifferent to the families and children in need of guidance.
As a guest, it's frustrating to witness a lack of leadership. Shouldn't the manager be proactive, ensuring the facility is operating smoothly instead of making rounds that feel a bit too casual? The essence of what made Bounce so special has been diluted; I long for the days when it felt like a well-oiled machine, driven by a team that was trained, attentive, and passionate about creating an unforgettable experience...
Read moreExtremely poor to non existent child safety protocols. Awful guest service when dealing with any complaints even up to management and ownership. Extremely small bounce area and gym attractions once the move to the galleria oddly enough. Filled in with random areas like pickle ball, roller skating, laser tag, and mini golf however the space is so small to cater to those things it ends up just being a hamster wheel. Sometimes there’s two cashiers, but usually there’s only one so if you attempt to go on a busier day expect a line. The line gets hideous around holiday and birthday seasons. Bare bones arcade area with generic games. Useless since the mall has two dedicated arcade spots already and mini golf. Too many blind spots and entrances, and not enough awake and aware staff manning those entrances at all times. Extremely dirty bathroom and carpet areas perpetually. Awkward placed tables, parental benches, and massage chairs? Not disability or spectrum inclusive or friendly from experience. Almost downright rude, insensitive, and unprofessional/ uneducated on many of those things you’d expect from a family experience. Bounce stayed afloat since it was a fish in an empty ocean of family outdoor experiences. However there’s places like spin bowl and other trampoline parks on route 9 which are far better experiences for your money. I could only see going here if you’re inside the mall and too lazy/tired respectively to drive down the street. However, if you care about the quality of your time and money I’d highly suggest just taking that 5 minute drive to a...
Read moreMy daughter had a birthday party here. The staff was totally disorganized and not helpful. We couldn't get into the room for the first 15 minutes and our whole party was just milling about in the waiting area wondering where to go--it was very, very awkward. I had dropped off decorations for the party beforehand, which was a huge pain having to find time to drop them off -- and NONE of it was up! The room didn't have enough chairs for everyone and was really cramped for the amount of people that were there. Most people were standing up. No one was helping us and the host (very unfriendly, lots of attitude) basically disappeared after the first 10 minutes. When we were actually finally in the trampoline area (after waiting 30 minutes), it was just one little bouncy area, which seemed small and there was not much to do besides one slide. Was it awful? No, not completely awful, but it seemed unspecial and aggravating. The other kids' parents even said that we should file a complaint because it was such bad service, which made me feel even worse because I was supposed to be hosting a party and no one was happy with it. We will not be going back!!
By the way, someone mentioned below that they also had an awful time at their birthday party, waiting and not being helped. The management said they "never get complaints like this." Well, I believe the person who wrote the complaint because the same thing happened to us. Perhaps it was just a bad host that day but yes, "management," sometimes you throw bad parties and you should believe the people who write...
