I purchased a necklace, a bracelet and earrings online and had them shipped to my house. When I received them, the earrings came damaged and the bracelet was nothing like it was advertised to be. I do not live in the area, but I still went to the Kay’s store to get it fixed. I returned the bracelet and they talked me into a different bracelet without telling me it was doubled the price until she already took my card. I told them it’s fine, and just to fix the earrings as soon as she could, since all three things were Christmas gifts. After my girlfriend put on the bracelet and earrings one time, the earrings were still bent even after being fixed and the bracelet broke. For the price I paid, it shouldn’t be this bad of quality. I went into Kay’s last night once again, even after not living in the area to only receive terrible service from the young gentleman working there. I asked his name and he refused to tell me. I kindly explained to him that I would like my jewelry fixed and I’m not from the area so if we could ship it to my house. He gave extreme attitude so I finally said to him that I don’t appreciate the attitude or the quality of my jewelry for the price that I paid for all them and he laughed in my face. I received a ring as a gift that did not fit, I went in to be sized. they sent my ring out to be sized and it came back with an unknown substance on it that did not come off during cleaning. the spots were very noticeable so I went back to the store. they attempted to clean it again and looked at it under microscope the substance would not come off. the not so friendly sales woman said "well we can send it back". my boyfriend asked if there was a way to get a new ring she assertively said that would take longer and continued to fill out a sheet to send it back. as we are handed the receipt unsatisfied and dissapointed with her attitude and not seeming to care , the manager came over and offered to order a new ring and let me keep this one in the mean time.. she was very friendly and caring about our wants/needs. she did the right thing and she made her customer happy in doing so . I didn't catch her name but she made all the difference in my experience at kay jewlers...
   Read moreI got my wife our wedding ring here and brought mine to be fitted..mine was my grandfather's ring so it was slightly too big....so 1st my wife wanted a shadow ring with the main stones on the center ring and 2 identical rings with smaller stones on either side...what we got back was a disaster...the rings didn't line up when put together. We brought it back numerous times, finally we brought it to kingston to see if they would give us better results. Meanwhile hearing every excuse possible..the repair shop we used the last time isn't that good.i..t will line up if we soder it..really this is what you tell a customer that just spent thousands with your company. We both just got fed up and took the ring...it collects dust now...my ring when I put it on and move my finger it snapped...they took it for repairs ...it did the same thing when I got it back.family heirloom that can never be replaced and I was shrugged off like it.didmt matter.what...
