Strain Stars Riverhead — Attraction in Town of Riverhead

First and last time visiting this store. No one greeted me as I walked in, I had to flag someone down for assistance. The sales associate who “helped” me had hickeys all over his neck (talk about unprofessional) and he was clueless about the products he was trying to sell to me. This place is WAY overpriced.I ended up being sold way more then I wanted, and when I got home and did my own research on the products sold to me it was nothing that I described to the sales associate. I wouldn’t know his name because he didn’t introduce himself; but my receipt says “Jason” on it. My advice to the owners here is have higher standards for your employees. Make sure they’re knowledgeable in all the overpriced products they’re pushing on people and maybe keep the hickeys in spots that the public cannot see.. Based on my first visit, this place is pretty dope. Innovative ordering system, and I liked it. Now, to the product. I asked for an eighth of smalls and I got a 3.5 oz nug in a plastic jar lol I'm not really complaining, it's a beautiful flower. But looks can be deceiving. This was Zesty Garlic Cookies 🤢😆 by Grass Roots. It boasts a 33% thc content, but it isn't that good. Unfortunately. I want to support my NY growers and companies but I ended up getting a jar of Gushers by Connected. And it is GASSS! I might have to try other brands and even some concentrates. I have been coming here for about twice a month since they've opened, and I have nothing but good things to say! The evening security guard always greets me with a smile, has a funny quip upon me entering, and on the days I have a lot with me, he opens the door for me! The other security guards I have less interaction with, but all are always friendly and greet me with a smile!

The past two times I have come here, I was met and helped by Brianna, and I couldn't ask for someone better! Her overall energy is amazing, and she studies the products she sells! She asks questions about your preferences, wants, and dislikes. Honestly she makes you feel like you're shopping for bud with a friend!
