Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Town of Riverhead

I usually am not the one to complain or write reviews but this place was insane. Upon our arrival I said we had 2 adults and a baby. At first we were told we can’t be seated because only high tops were available due to the bartender going on break and no server. I said that’s okay we don’t mind waiting. The hostess sighed and said never mind we have a small table in the bar area. So we were sat. Never given a high chair so I asked the server for one and she said sure but never brought us one. We watched her leave and enter the kitchen over and over and even went to the bar and rested on it. So I asked the hostess and they brought one over. Our server never greeted us she just asked what we would like to eat and drink. We put in our appetizer and waiting for about 30 minutes. She came back with our appetizer and food at the same time. After that we were never checked on again. Our son’s fries came out cold and the food was underwhelming. She didn’t have the best attitude and we felt very uncomfortable being there. We asked for boxes and were brought a broken box so when my husband went to put the wings in they fell out all over the floor. We told her what happened she just sighed, walked away, and got us another box didn’t even offer to compensate for their mistake. We never got a check so we asked for one and she rolled her eyes and said there’s a QR code on the table we can use to pay. We had trouble doing the buy one get one free deal since my husband is a rewards member and she once again never came to check on us just chilling at the bar on her phone. Eventually she walks over annoyed and we tell her the issue. She does something on her tablet to fix it and no one talked to us again after that. We left very upset. Don’t think we’ll be coming back to this location. Not friendly and treated us like they didn’t want us there. Came here with a group of friends and my husband, they took his passport to check it’s validity which is normal, when the manager came back he asked where the visa on his passport was and flipped through the pages, i said that I didn’t realize we needed a visa to drink an alcoholic beverage. The manager tried to justify his questioning by saying he was only doing his job. I didn’t know his job was to check on the immigration status of its customers. He then asked where his stamp was and where he got his passport. It’s illegal for a police to ask for a persons immigrations status without cause so it’s definitely not ok for this man to ask for it. Definitely will not be coming back. Very upsetting since this place was one of our favorites.
