I recently went to Dress Gala to find a Mother of the Groom gown & it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. They offer a stunning collection of dresses for every occasion. The selections cater to all different tastes and body types. What truly sets this store apart from the others (& I went to 8 other shops) was the exceptional service provided by the owner Dionna & her staff. From the moment I walked in she made me feel welcome and valued. Her expertise in fashion is evident and she has an incredible eye for detail. She took the time to understand my personal style & helped me find the perfect dress for my son’s wedding. Dionna’s friendly & professional demeanor made my shopping experience enjoyable and stress free. Since I went by myself I definitely needed a 2nd opinion and she offered honest and helpful advise. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her customers and goes above and beyond to ensure they leave the store feeling confident and satisfied with their purchase. In addition to their fabulous customer service, their prices are reasonable considering the high quality of their dresses. Overall, I highly recommend Dress Gala to anyone in search of stylish, high quality dresses and exceptional customer service. Dionna and her staff created a wonderful shopping destination that I will visit again for my next occasion and I have already referred several people to go there. I know this was very long but I just can’t say enough about the large selection of dresses and how truly Amazing Dionna & the staff was. Love-Love-Love-DRESS GALA…………and...
Read moreI wanted to recognize and thank Diona at Dress Gala for all she did for my family during a very difficult time. My sister-in-law, 59, suddenly passed away last month in Florida and we were planning her funeral in NY. My MIL wanted a new gown to wake and bury her in and asked me to call around. My first and only call was to Dress Gala to make an appointment. Diona answered and said they were booked with appointments because it was a holiday weekend, proms, etc. When I explained the situation, she told us to come in whenever we could and to specifically ask for her. When we arrived, Diona stopped what she was doing and took the time to help us personally. We showed her a picture of my SIL and told Diona all about her. Dress Gala had so many gowns to choose from and my MIL picked a beautiful gown. When it came time to pay, Diona said she wanted to donate the gown. We were in disbelief and all began to cry. Diona is a true professional with a heart of gold and my family and I can’t thank her enough for her understanding, compassion, and generosity. Her staff also could not have been nicer. When I tell people of this story, they are amazed and some that know Diona and Dress Gala are not surprised by her generosity and kindness. When you are looking for a dress or gown, please try Dress Gala first. You won’t be...

In early February 2022, at the direction of Diona, the owner of Dress Gala, I met with designer Alex Georgio. Alex self describes as being professional, highly successful and even claims to have dressed Lady GaGa. Under the supervision of Diona, Alex and I designed my dream dress for my son’s upcoming wedding.
On May 11th my “custom made” dress by self proclaimed and accomplished designer Alex Georgio was in! I rushed to the store but sadly the dress was the wrong size. It was at least 6” too big in the chest - I’m size 0 in casual clothes - and several inches too long.
Wanting to walk down the isle in the dress I designed and paid for - I felt the best and fairest option was to give them a second chance.
Yesterday, on July 7th, dress #2 arrived in store but it wasn’t made to fit either! Again it was several inches too long and, due to the design, couldn’t be altered to fit. Suffice to say length is a very basic and uncomplicated measurement in dress making.
It has now been 5 months of waiting, including 6 weeks of sleepless nights, and Diona’s response to this situation was “sorry girl.” Her callous attitude and two time failure is a disgrace to the industry.
The wedding is two months away and I’m without a dress, more stress and expensive rush...
