KFC — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

Jimmy ruined my KFC experience…he takes your order for drive thru. No greeting, was rude and condescending. I rode up in a good ole mood but it was completely ruined. I told him I haven’t ordered from KFC in a while so I would need his help. Why did I bother this guy had no customer service skills and needs to be retrained IMMEDIATELY! I will never eat at KFC again and especially at this location. I should have just went to BayShore or Central Islip but never again. What really did it was when I asked what’s the difference in the small and large chocolate cake this simpleton says small when he should have known I was talking price difference. Never again! On January 7th, I ordered from KFC and picked up my order. Unfortunately, the customer service I experienced was shockingly rude and unprofessional. The staff clearly need customer service training. Right after picking up my order, I took about 30 seconds to enter the GPS address for my next destination since there were no cars behind me. Despite this, the employee rudely told me to leave the pickup window. Her tone was disrespectful, and I felt rushed and unwelcome. She even pointed upwards, seemingly referencing cameras that monitor stopping times at the window, as if to justify her behavior.

If KFC is enforcing policies that prioritize speed over customer satisfaction, it’s a terrible approach. This interaction left a bad impression, and I will not be returning to this location with such unfriendly service and disregard...

Have had a craving for KFC lately but never sure of the hours at this location. I work nights so I tend to eat my dinner later than normal people. I saw that Google maps had the close time listed as midnight. I drove by at 11pm and the outside lights were dark and the "open" sign was shut off. This discouraged me because I was on limited time being that I was on my lunch break from work. I ended up driving even more out of my way to go to Wendy's instead. The next night I drive by this same location at 11:30pm and the outside lights and "open" sign were lit up. That infuriated me even more by the lack of consistency when it comes to their schedule.
