Been eating the Original Brooklyn pizza for over 22+ years. Love their pizzas! They, absolutely, makes the best NYC - Brooklyn pizza 🍕 (typical to the pizzas from the 60’s) in ALL of Long Island!
The Grandma Pizza has the perfect touch of garlic, fresh mozzarella, sauces, & cheese perfectly baked on the thin hot crust & topped with a touch of fresh Basil 🌿! Just perfect!
The Chicken Marsala Pie - served from the oven to the table was the best! The Marsala Pie Made with a generous amount of Chicken and mushrooms cooked in the Marsala wine sauce was oven baked to perfection and served on the table!! Perfect!!
Growing up eating pizza in Little Italy (on Mott street and) since the 60’s ... The Original Brooklyn Pizzeria of Commack, to me, makes the best pizzas!!! Along with other delicious pastas, & Italian dishes!
Their pizza is made with perfect blend of cheese, sauce and crust, a very typical to taste of a good slice of Brooklyn or NYC pizza 🍕!!!!
The few that gave 1 star ⭐️ are perhaps a competitor, a foreigners, or, an out of towner! Or one that lacked the experience or just NEVER ate of REAL slice pizza!!!!
Chicken Franchise - Lightly breaded (in an egg flour) served generously over a bed of linguini! The chicken breast Francese perfectly cooked in a lemon sauce that melts in your mouth ... so tender that you cut with a fork!
The Linguini in Red Clam Sauce - Served with clams in a slightly garlicky red marinara sauce over a bed of linguini! Is absolutely 😋!!! (But then again I love 💕 garlic!)
Great: calzones & Rice balls! Plus everything else!
When Brooklyn pizza is unadated with numerous phone orders yes, I can see that they can be a little overwhelmed , but nevertheless they make the Best 🥘 pizza!!!
AND IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!
Simply put: Original Brooklyn Pizzeria makes the best pizza and dishes, at reasonable prices, in all of NY and Suffolk County!
😄Lol! Been eating pizza and Italian foods since I was a kid and now for over 55 years!!!! I love pizza!

Read moreThis place used to be decent. They had homemade iced tea and fruit punch. They had decent pizza. There is a better pizza place up the road now, so I am even surprised this place is still open considering the service, food quality, and lack of amenities that pizzerias normally have are not present here at all.
The pizza has the worst crust ever now. It used to be a little thin, but crunchy and it was a good crust. They totally changed it, now it is flimsy and paper thin, like transparent almost...and the cheese and sauce also feel downgraded. I could buy a Baboli and have better pizza for cheaper. Also, 12 dollars for a regular slice and a pepperoni slice, and both were small compared to everywhere else.
The napkins are rough pieces of paper, absolutely horrendous. They barely have the usual spices laying around (salt, pepper, garlic, oregano, and parmigiana). They hide the oregano! How cheap are you to hide your oregano, and no parmigiana anywhere. I had to look around for the garlic, salt and pepper. That is ridiculous, it should be in one place easily viewed or at each table. What cheapskates the owners have become.
No paper towels, now it is a hand dryer. Many pizzerias still have paper towels....also no good variety of drinks. No iced tea, no punch, no Italian drinks, barely any soda. What a joke! Memas has like 50 types of soda! Go to Memas, it is in Northgate...thousand times better..
This place will go out of business, and the fact they are even open is a surprise. No other customers were there and barely any takeouts. This place used to always have a line of takeouts and a few customers eating.
Whoever owns this place should close shop. You cannot compete with Memas, and I regret wasting my time in this place, but Memas is busy and I was in a rush. Never again.
Nice wine rack...but I doubt anyone comes here for fine dining. Memas also has more wine and a nicer...
Read moreMy family came to visit from Florida over the weekend. I ordered a couple of pies & some garlic knots for dinner. It was a pretty penny.. but i heard that this place “was the bomb” and their food was great. I saw a few bad reviews, i figured i’d still give this place a try. My family had arrived, and so did the delivery driver. Super fast delivery! The driver was so nice, and polite. Once we sat down to eat, my sister pointed out there was a hair in one of the pies. The garlic knots where like rubber... I tried to call the restaurant but i was hung up on. Super...
