Sushi Palace — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

The food was decent, but everything else about this experience was disappointing. I decided to try a different all-you-can-eat spot but immediately regretted it. Upon arrival, I had to wait five minutes just to be told how long it would take to get a seat. The restaurant was packed, yet only two staff members were managing the entire place.

Once seated, it took forever for someone to take our order. They repeatedly forgot items we marked on the order sheet and asked us to rewrite them multiple times. The delays didn’t end there; we waited an unreasonably long time for both food and service.

The worst part came when it was time to pay. I handed over my Amex card, only to be told it was declined, which was surprising since I knew the card was in good standing. Later, I received a text notification showing they attempted to charge me $90,000! Such a massive input error is unacceptable.

This place struggles with basic operations—poor order management, terrible service, and significant payment mistakes. I’ll never return and can’t recommend this...

This place had really great sushi but the service and the atmosphere is the only reasons why they get a one star review!!! I had just finished recording my experience there but won't put it on Google. I was fatshamed by the female waistress who looked rather old for her age and heard her say, "this is why she's so fat" in "english" insult while I was eating the selection of what I ordered... Okay 👍🏼

It was taking a long time for them to come with the check where I was considering of walking out because the service was terrible and wasn't worth it. Finally when the waitress asked if i was done and i said yes, she tells me "maybe next time, order less." SO... I made sure not to tip that nasty waitress when it came time to pay my dining services by such rude people. I really wished I never came here and sure won't be...

My friends and I went here this afternoon to have a simple meal. The soup was bland, it tasted like water, the sushi was "chewy" and the waitress was snoby and "reluctant" to serve us. When we ordered the kani salad they gave us a quarter of an amount on a small serving plate. They didnt offer refills, which our waitress "barked" at us and then when we were about to leave she came to us again to take our cards and when she returned she "barked" at us again saying not to order too much food next time and that they weren't going to charge us "this time". Well, if that's going to be your policy that is something you should tell your customers BEFORE hand, not AFTER. Dont go here. Go to Tang Dynasty instead. Def...
