The Bicentennial Park in Ticonderoga is a great place to sit and relax with friends for lunch or dinner. There is a nice trail that you can walk around the park, ballfields, and it connects with the trail along the LaChute River. At the bottom of the waterfall you may often see different wading birds or osprey catching fish and there is a nice dock for launching a kayak or canoe. Additionally, there is often fun entertainment throughout the summer. Free concerts, summer carnival, and "The Best 4th in the North" celebration. They always have the best fireworks display...
Read moreLove this park. Especially when July 4th fireworks and the street fair is in town. My kids can spend $20 quicker then I can blink an eye, but they enjoy themselves. During the regular season, this park is fun to walk and explore. Take time out of your schedule, smell the flowers and enjoy. Great place!

Read moreThe Town does an excellent job of maintaining the public park. There are many activities to enjoy. There's a small playground, a paved path around the outer boundaries, and a beautiful gazebo in the middle. There is fishing at the Lachute river and waterfall. You can see the hydroelectric station at the waterfalls edge. Then there is the Kissing Bridge that spans from a parking area, across the river, and into the park. Please do beware of water current changes in the river. It is not ideal...
